Meh its steel typing allows it more liberties than its rock/fighting brother, but overall its not amazing. Good. Not great. I too hate the design.

This was an interesting choice, but it does open up more possibilities in terms of team slots. Only wish they had given them moves to complement their new types. Although I know the logistics of that would be flawed. Being alternate forms and not entirely new pokemon.

Volt Change on jolteon is amazing. Great scouting capabilities to be exploited. Great for bluffing on a switch into something expecting Hidden Power, and throwing out a specs volt change. Greatly looking forward to abusing this move lol.
