The idea that if we ban Kyurem and Ogerpon-W and Darkrai will make Slowking-G/Gliscor cores too good doesn't super make sense to me? There are a lot of Pokemon that can take advantage of that core that are not quite as potent as Kyurem, Ogerpon-W, and Darkrai that are viable like Weavile...

Also if you can tera and switch out then Zone can't really trap anything.

Sorry, but this is incorrect. Historically, we ban things that are broken and ignore the positives it brings. If a ban makes something else broken, we ban the new broken thing. If a ban makes the metagame worse, then there are probably further fundamental issues with the metagame. For example...

Not wanting to ban a Pokemon because it brings positive attributes to a tier is not a good reason to not ban something. If we have to ban something else after banning Garchomp, it's okay. You're allowed to have a UUBL with more than 5 Pokemon.

This is why scales are not a good way to handle surveys, everyone interprets a 1-5 differently, meaning its much harder to interpret results and take meaningfull actions. A QB/Supsect/Do Nothing, or even labels on the 1-5 would be much more effective, so we don't need "personal metrics."...

I know we've all apparently collectively decided that Deo-S isn't problematic, but it got a higher vote than Archaludon on the last survey.

Quickban all three, problem solved. Broken checks broken or collateral has never been a good argument to not ban anything.

I strongly agree with both of these points, but I'd like to add that surveys are a key part to quickly gauge player opinion efficiently. Judging whether a suspect is appropriate should come from the survey results more so than the suspect result. I agree that having a unanimous ban on a suspect...

Very happy Valiant is on the radar as I find it very easy to abuse in the mid-ladder and very hard to suss out the set due to the insane versatility. Also, Gliscor is not a great Valiant check, as you get 2HKOed by +2 Spirt Break and +1 Moonblast, can get turned into fodder with Encore sets...
