  1. New and "creative" moveset/EV spread thread. Mk. 4

But it's entirely likely that I could be running Thunderbolt instead of Flamethrower and because of that, I don't know many people that would switch a Gyarados into a dragonite...
  2. New and "creative" moveset/EV spread thread. Mk. 4

Not necessarily. Substitute gives you a nice buffer to not just use focus punch, but to use any of the attacks. It is especially useful to turn the tables on ice shard users
  3. New and "creative" moveset/EV spread thread. Mk. 4

You mean with mine or the dedicated sub punch dragonite?
  4. New and "creative" moveset/EV spread thread. Mk. 4

(Dragonite) @ leftovers Moveset Name: BoahNite : Substitute : Dragon Pulse : Flamethrower : Focus Punch Ability:Inner Focus Nature(s): Rash or Quiet (-SpD or -Spe?) EVs: 196 HP/112 AtK/200 SpA This functions very similarly to tyraniboah of the third gen, but it has (arguably) superior typing...
  5. Modest OU

will do. it's been changed on the thread as well
  6. Modest OU

i have him all ready for action on my shoddy team at the moment. time to take your suggestion for a spin :)

if i used that gengar, i would probably use trick over t-bolt because jolt can still outspeed a +1 gyara and i won't be letting him get any more dd's than that for sure. and with trick, i get to cripple a blissey which is never bad
  8. Modest OU

i'll give that a try for sure. i like the extra fighting immunity and the ability to end a lucario sweep; something i had trouble with previously. thanks @sceats-here is a perfect compromise for everyone. i ditch staraptor so snorlax is the only normal CBer and use the scarf latias that runs...
  9. Modest OU

that's just the thing with rhyperior. most of his viable options don't have over 85% accuracy (Hammer arm is an option, but that doesn't gain any coverage) I'll try out ice punch for a few rounds and see if it saves some sweeps EDIT: also, i could give staraptor a scarf to give him the ability...
  10. Modest OU

A double switch is WAY too risky when baton pass is just a very safe move to use. And snorlax is statistically more bulky with the special defense over hp. and dusknoir handles just about every fighting type by coming in on the fighting move and threatening back with a will o wisp. but you are...
  11. Modest OU

The title says it all. This OU team is modest, tries not to be too ambitious, and just goes for overall balance. I did my very best to build this team with as many immunities/resistances as possible while still retaining the ability to hit hard and open up a sweep. Without any further rambling...
