I start up the program, and connect to the server just fine, but when I try to log in using my Smogon account name and password nothing happens.

I'm trying to download PokeLab, I get through that successfully, but then a problem arises: Firefox doesn't know what program to use to open it. I know it needs to be Java, so I go browsing, but I can't find it. Saving the file does the same thing. I just don't know what to do, I hope...
