Umm...have you even used the thing as a scarfer? While it's got some poor coverage options(namely, lack of ice-type coverage over HP Ice), its special attack and speed are good enough to be serious threats after chip damage, and its coverage options can still be picked out based on what the team...

I can definitely support this. Its ability is the perfect thing to help neuter the ability to OHKO (Thick Fat), and its moves/stats help to keep it healthy and functioning for a match. While on paper it doesn't seem that special, in a match it turns out to have better survivability and recovery...

I loved Volcarona when I found it in Pokemon White all those years ago, but it's definitely got its ups and downs. In all honesty I didn't even consider Volcarona when I built my team originally, due to the fact I had two Pokemon with Flying, Gren, and a Dugtrio with Stone Edge. One of my...

To be fair, your opponent made quite a few mistakes he shouldn't have, and he was using a very...odd team for OU. As in: the only thing not UU by usage was Heatran, and his team isn't the best. Conkeldurr isn't a bad Pokemon by any stretch, but unless you have Knock Off it's completely...

B ---> B+ I can agree with a Mimikyu rise personally. Disguise guarantees at least one Swords Dance, and if played with Substitute you can easily knock out a couple 'mons with STABs and not have a broken Disguise. Granted, this also takes a bit of luck. It can handle Starmie too as a Rapid Spin...
  6. SM OU RMT: Awkwardly M!Pinsir

Yeah, Latios is a major pain without it if it runs a CM set, since most of the rest of my team are SpAtkers. If Dugtrio is knocked out, then I'm definitely needing it. Same with Magearna and a couple others.

I can get behind this. I can get behind this a lot. While I don't play it well, there's incredible times where Pinsir tanks a hit and knocks out one or two Pokemon I just need out and nets me a win. It's strong, and flexible enough to handle a lot of 'Mons, whether Return-boosted or not...
  8. SM OU (24-2 ratio, 1474 ELO and rising) Lele-zam psychic spam, feat. adamant band zygarde!

But yeah, I can't think of other things mostly. This is a pretty well-handled team, I like it. I'm really tempted to play it myself, especially since it'd be nice to use something that doesn't require me guessing everything the other guy will do. It's just not worth it at times, lol. I do...

Dugtrio is another thing to watch out for. I run a Sash Dugtrio with Sucker Punch, for example, and it can knock out Mega Alakazam and Magearna before fainting if I predict right. My main team is prediction-reliant though, but Dugtrio is something to watch. I've run through half a team before...
  10. SM OU RMT: Awkwardly M!Pinsir

    1. Considering how often I actually click 'Swords Dance' I could probably drop it. While I do know that's not an official set, priority on Pinsir may be worth it considering what it may need to knock out. I do like Knock Off though because it does help quite a lot against some targets. 2. I may...

So I will be honest and admit this is my first team I've sent for rating, but I'm starting to pick up and do better and better. This team is the main reason I'm even near 1300, which I know isn't a high ranking, but I've been learning the competitive environment too. I've tried a few variations...
