I'm just saying it does happen, and I've seen it frequently enough that I'm caution about it. Not anywhere nearly as common as it is now. I saw HP Fire on either maybe twice all of last gen, now it's on basically every set.

Ferrothorn often carries T-Wave, which cripples all of those except for Chomp though. It's not the most common, but it's used enough that you need to be aware of it. Completely agree here. Getting rid of Ferrothorn would lead to Latios being banned quicker (not to mention others most likely)...

Leftovers recovery is pretty significant.

Take the Pokemon that is infected with Pokerus into battle, battling something, and the Pokemon adjacent to the infect Pokemon have a chance to contract Pokerus as well. The Pokemon with Pokerus does not have to be the one battling fyi.

That isn't enough of a reason really. You have to go out of your way to get it, and you don't have access to it until very late. Just off of those things, it shouldn't be high.
