The fact that Houndstone needs to rely on every single one of its teammates to be dead, along with having sand up or scarf which locks it into the move, ALONG WITH the fact that normal types completely wall the move... just why?

Been resetting my game to see if the 3 Segment Dudunsparce form is random or if it becomes locked into the mon's code once you catch it. So far, no success yet at getting it to evolve into the 3 Segment form...

So I'm just going to have to HOPE I get a 3 segment one when raising my Dunsparce? F me in the alps... :smogonbird:

So what makes the pseudo so much better than say, Haxorus? It has very similar stats with less speed and more bulk from what I can gather.

That's actually so cool. Headcannoning that Houndstone becomes this gargantuan beast made out of the bones of its fallen comrades in order to avenge them.

These ruination legends are some of the darn coolest and coldest mons we've gotten in the last few gens. We need more stuff like this. I normally hate using legends, but these guys I'll make an exception for, especially the cauldron deer and tablet snail.

Yup, Dudunsparce has just the right amount of moves and setup to run all sorts of unique sets. Roost is massive for letting it recover too and take advantage of that fat 125 HP stat. This thing will definitely be an option in the lower tiers, I'm thinking RU is a fair ladder to place it in for now.
