    Thanks for all the advice guys- hatched myself a shiny togepi. Only thing is though, it didn't have the ability I'd expected. Is there any good way of finding out which ability is which number for different pokémon?

    Ok, so is this what I should do? Save in front of the daycare man. Use the time finder to find a time for a shiny egg. Soft reset at the right time (14 seconds before the target time for me), and then try to hit the correct delay. Pick up the egg and then verify my seed with elm (assuming frame 1)

    I'm using the tutorial on http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpp_rng_part1 at the moment, im looking at the "DPPT Egg PID" section, but there isn't an HG/SS box. if i move to "Breeding (HGSS)", then I find that there are no results when i click generate.

    How does one translate between the taps given by RNG reporter and the number of eggs we have to reject? Also, will moving around not screw anything up? I don't quite understand this yet, I think. Thanks in advance :)
