Resource ORAS Creative and Underrated Sets V2 (Replays required!!!)

Rest is a cheeky option but usually means you can't stay in and abuse her consistent utility/damage. Also her stalling potential is not as strong as her "dueling" I guess. She can often overcome a lot of opponents and would be checks if she's got time to TSpikes earlier but without it a lot of...

Resource ORAS Creative and Underrated Sets V2 (Replays required!!!)

So here's a set I made for a pokemon that I find extremely underrated rn Deadly Flourish (Roserade) (F) @ Black Sludge Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 236 HP / 64 SpA / 20 SpD / 188 Spe Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Leaf Storm - Toxic Spikes - Venoshock - Synthesis/Rest The metagame for Roserade is...

    Resource ORAS Good Cores

Scarf Volcanion + Specs Keldeo + So, having a Specs Keldeo is great for almost any team. Having two of them is even better. We all know what Specs Keldeo does and having a second one that now has totally different coverage and resistances is a nightmare for most teams. Naturally Latios/bulky...

XY OU If you hit a wall, hit it hard!

Yeah I decided to run Double-Edge over Steel Wing in the end, it's simply too good to pass up. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm currently just trying to find a reliable way to deal with Charizard-X and to a lesser extent Tflame. Any help with that would be appreciated!

XY OU If you hit a wall, hit it hard!

Oh my Goodness I'm sorry for not replying sooner. Thanks very much for the review, and you're more than welcome to borrow the name. :) I'm not sure I can agree with a few of these suggestions however, as the entire premise of this team is to use many special attacks to overwhelm the opponent...

XY OU If you hit a wall, hit it hard!

Haha, thanks for the review! I definitely see a lot of reasoning here so I'm gonna try out pretty much all the suggestions. Heatran isn't really a concern because between Starmie and Staraptor I can generally just melt it. You're right about Ice Beam though, other than Grass types... but let's...

XY OU If you hit a wall, hit it hard!

Hi there, I've decided to come to the RMT side of Smogon to get some advice and whatnot for a team I've fallen in love with, since its inception was kind of unexpected. I've lurked since forever so and made an abysmal team eons ago, but hopefully this one won't be quite as traumatically bad. So...

Hey there, I was just reading your ideas on Banette and just wanted to know what exactly you're running with her as team mates. I've been trying many different mons with mixed success and I can't find something I'm happy with. Essentially I'd like it if you could give me a few ideas or...

    Other Good Cores

Currently my team's defensive core is Defensive Togekiss and Assault Vest SpD Heatran. I've decided for this gen to focus on having a lot of firepower on all of my mons while still retaining good bulk, and with this combination all of them do fantastic damage while still being bulky and...

    RMT: Frank's OU team

See my post, I suggested more things than this entire thread has and he took them all on board and respectfully replied. Don't even bother with this point. He removed it, that was a bit silly on his part I admit. And also, you can't just say one set, that was a poor choice, and thus disprove a...

    RMT: Frank's OU team

Fair enough, still helps smack Tyranitar and Weavile and whoever else is 4x weak to fighting down. When I used a Rhyperior I ran Swords Dance/SE/BB/EQ and it worked pretty well. Hits things like a freight train.

    RMT: Frank's OU team

Sigh, why did this have to become a war thread ~_~ He doesn't want stock standard suggestions. Simple. This is petty, even by e-thug standards. Regardless of the combat that has ensued due to Pokemon of all things, I want to state that it appears to me that it's not only him that appears...

    RMT: Frank's OU team

The pains of trying to be different, eh? I agree that seeing Tyranitar/Mence/Blissey and all that every battle sucks, and thus I'm not going to suggest using any of them, but I think I've come up with a couple of ideas that could help. First I think you might want to pick a dedicated lead...

    The Dream Team!

Thanks for the reviews Toxic and Squibble. I've decided to change Solrock for a Metagross Lead, you can go check the blue writing as to what I've decided on. I need a Pokemon that'll fit Metagross' mold, i.e., a good physical sweeper that isn't steel preferably, or Mence. Suicune or...

    The Dream Team!

Thanks for the review KidX, I'll try out Cressy and see how it goes. As you said, they are similar enough, and Cressy does have better stats! Anyway, thanks again.

    The Dream Team!

Thanks for the review Tab, I can definitely see some good points, particularly about Claydol. However, there are a few things that I would like to discuss with regards to the changes. We'll go from top to bottom, as that might fit better. First, I can see the issue with using Solrock as a...

    The Dream Team!

It counters Breloom because Suicune takes the sleep, and with my EVs and Jolly nature for Clefable it outspeeds all breloom, so I switch it in on the sub and encore it, problem solved. As for Gengar, usually Raikou takes out all Gengar, and Clefable can sponge any Shadow balls thrown at...

    The Dream Team!

After a few months on Shoddy and Smogon, I've kept changing my team. Somewhat to cure the problems that I've been facing, and sometimes due to the metagame shifts due to Uber Latias and whatnot. At first I started with a stock standard team, but I felt it wasn't working as well as it could...
