If I BP 6 curses to a pokemon holding White Herb will the WH cure all of the speed drops? Ex: Umbreon BPs +6 Curses to Crobat holding White Herb
  2. Kyurem

Hi, I just caught a Kyurem and wanted to ev train and trade it. So, I read up to page 8 of all this bickering and wanted to know why everyone overlooked Imprison. Based off the set that K is running, He can shut down a lot of walls/ sweepers. Have any of you used Disable on a poke locked into...

hey, does the move Whirlwind get rid of: Spikes, T-Spikes, Stealth Rock, Light Screen, Reflect, and Barrier? On it's description for Gen 5 it says 'forces opponent to switch pokemon. also gets rid of spikes, light screen, etc.' I really hate that they put etc. >:( and i just wanted to be thorough
  5. Bastiodon

Okay so I challenged myself to make a Gen 5 team (im still learning so bear with me) with a successful defensive Rock/Steel type pokemon, and I chose Bastiodon. in the past, i've been known by my fellow chat counterparts to come up with less-than-orthodox sets. In the case of this poke, here's...
  6. OU RMT, since I have immence amounts of teams, I do not name them.

You're safest bet is to switch Starmie for Togekiss or Jirachi. I won't make any further comment though because there is too little description of your pokes imo (not that mine matters) but you definately need more otherwise a mod will lock the thread.
  7. Hail OU RMT!

Do you really think Blissey and Dragonite will be able to take your 4party Fire weakness? I think you might want to consider HeatProof Bronzong instead of Steelix, you get roughly the same Defensivness as you do with steelix but you take less damage from Fire which helps your team immensly...
  8. Tickets Are Free - An OU RMT

Bump thread, I need some more help :/
  9. Mono Steel RMT

OK, the first thing i noticed, You Have No Idea How To Use Gravity. If Zong has Gravity, go with Earthquake, you'll kill a lot more switchins/ Leads but because you're using it as a lead you have no chance at pulling off a sweep because of Stealth Rocks, you would have to have Earthquake AND...
  10. Down by the Waters

Thanks for the pm, it made me smile! :)... Anyway, Special Attack Zapdos (rare, but it happens) absolutely Rips through this team 2HKOing all of your team with: Thunderbolt-> Gyrados (239.3% - 282.8%), Tyranitar (51.3% - 60.6%), Empoleon (123.8% - 146.7%) Heatwave-> Metagross (83% - 97.8%)...
  11. Poisonous Tribute - A OU/Wi-Fi Mono Poison Team

Manav95, this is a monotype poison team, Rotom-H is Ghost/ Electric. But if you do get a wild card, Rotom is always a good choice
  12. Team of the Hidden leaf Village ( peaked a cre of 1550 )

Rapid Spin won't be missed that much either. All of the pokes you have aren't affected by T-spikes and resist SR. Spikes may be a problem but Heatran can launch off a Fire Blast before Skarmory, Forretress can start spiking. Kind of obvious but i still felt i should say something
  13. Poisonous Tribute - A OU/Wi-Fi Mono Poison Team

I think Weezing should be considered in this team, while he can't set up Stealth Rocks, he does burn lots of threatening pokes and has a bonus Levitate. On Tentacruel, go T-Spikes over Ice Beam (you won't be hitting much with it anyway). Other than that I can't really say much.
  14. Cress Rules!

Ok, I was goin to put this up at midnight, but my phone is retarded and stuff so this might work well for you: Roserade @ LifeOrb Timid - Natural Cure 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Leaf Storm Sleep Powder Hidden Power- Electric Sludge Bomb I use this set on my team except I use HP-Fire over...
  15. Cress Rules!

OK, I'm going to go back and fully read this (in like 5 minutes) but for your Zapdos problem, switching Machamp for Hariyama or Snorlax with immunity should solve your problem Hariyama: Hariyama @ Leftovers Impish - Thick Fat 80 HP / 172 Atk / 252 Def / 4 Spe Rest Sleep Talk Whirlwind Force...
  16. First OU RMT stall team

you need more descriptions otherwise the mods will lock this thred Please find the RMT posting rules here:http://www.smogon.com/forums/announcement.php?f=119&a=121
  17. Team of the Hidden leaf Village ( peaked a cre of 1550 )

grr this is the third time i'm typing this (sorry i needed to rant). Anyway, LO Starmie can muscle its way through your team with relative ease mid to late game. 3 of your pokemon are weak to fire and given the pokemon, lets say Zapdos, can cause some problems early off. Some fire using types to...
  18. [Wi-Fi] Team Cynthetik returns[needs help with Synergy team!]

If you give Zapdos HP-Ice as we have put then you should be fine, Swampert with Ice Beam also helps, especially with roar, the only thing you have to worry about is Toxic. If you fear toxic, just trick SC onto it with gengar. Hope that clears some things up.
  19. [Wi-Fi] Team Cynthetik returns[needs help with Synergy team!]

Something just occured to me. You need a spinner for Zapdos. However no one is coming to mind except maybe Bulky Starmie
  20. [Wi-Fi] Team Cynthetik returns[needs help with Synergy team!]

Not a chance. A +1 Waterfall does between 64.8% - 76.6% on SpecDos. Defensive takes 39.2% - 46.2% which turns into a 3HKO unless you're unlucky enough to get hit with a crit, which sucks.
