Honestly, Gigas is pretty good if smashpassed from Smeargle. At plus 2 speed and attack it negates the slow start drop for five turns, after which it automatically goes to plus 4 in each. Could be useful.

It's real niche is on Cofking, that's it. Basically you send in Cofagrigus, it gets hit, gives the opponent Mummy, you switch out to Slaking, Pursuit, ad now instead of Truant you have Mummy.

I'd think that Feint Technician Scizor might have a niche. Hits Protect healing Gliscor at least.

Ok, so I started my Crystal challenge. So far, I've beaten up to Falkner. (Only had to challenge him about six times). Made it to the Ruins of Alph where I found three Es an I and a D. The Pokemon has to be an E, the moves an E, I, or D. I caught Sprout, but he only knows one status move...

Tyranitarphantom catch a Drilbur. It cannot evolve until it learns Sandstorm. It cannot know any STAB moves when it evolves. As an Excadrill, it cannot battle unless there's a Sandstorm up, except it can use the move Sandstorm. Hopefully that makes sense

I've hit a snag. I can't battle a required trainer because he has a rattata and all I can possibly have is my Totodile. Since Toto can't battle anything but water and grass types, what do i do?

I would go with a scarf on that Chandelure not Specs. It needs to outspeed to do any damage at all and its speed stat isn't phenomenal. With or without the Scarf, Gengar screws much of this team(though it screws less with it)
