  1. [on site] The Complete Damage Formula for Diamond & Pearl

    I'm pretty sure he meant the formula to be: Damage Formula = ((((((Level × 2 ÷ 5) + 2) × BasePower × [Sp]Atk ÷ 50) ÷ [Sp]Def) × Mod1) + 2) × CH × Mod2 × R ÷ 100 × STAB × Type1 × Type2 × Mod3 That is, the division removes the last two digits from the previous result. Perhaps a more clear way of...
  2. Don't Waste EVs!

Here, Firefox seems to hang when I load the web version. When I try the Jar, I get a segfault. I am using gij, 4:4.1.2-1ubuntu1. I would love to look at the source to see how things are done, too. Not that I want to spread it across the net claiming it's mine or anything.
  3. Advance Underused Alphabet Tournament (Round 1)

Maybe you should have read the rules before asking that.

  6. Advance Underused Alphabet Tournament (Sign-Ups)

Suggestion, how about NU versus NU, and UU versus UU? This would alternate each round (NU one, UU the next, etc.). This might limit the players too much, though. Another is 3 NU and 3 UU per team... but I doubt that's going to happen.
  7. Advance Underused Alphabet Tournament (Sign-Ups)

I'm in, and I chose idea 2. If the six letters were displayed publicly, I'd consider 2b. That way you'd know a more specific group that you're up against, making the game more challenging (because they know what Pokemon you are going to use, too). Also, please clarify what you mean by "the...

  11. [Article] Selective Breeding

You're welcome. I still don't understand the fourth section: How would you "breed out for max IV's?" I don't understand; maybe it's because I don't play Emerald. Anyways, so far you are formatting 'wrong' (as far as the stats go). Use underscores colored to match the...
  12. [Article] Selective Breeding

Couple of suggestions: Put all the stats of the Pokemon on one line, or shorten the list. I can barely read it. Also, some other formatting adjustments that people are used to. For example: Minun - Mother (F) @ None Trait: Minus Nature: Careful HP _22 _SpAt 11 Atk 10 _SpDe 13 Def _9 _Spd _15...
  13. [Article] Selective Breeding

Great job on the guide. Does need a bit of rewriting, but that's because the doc. is a rough draft (right?). I had no idea that the gender and nature were controllable. Too bad I can't have five eggs of Pokemon with the nature I want! I have been fooling around with breeding a bit myself...
