  1. Pokemon you gave TOO MUCH credit...

I found Rhyperior very difficult to use. Now everything, it seems, has excellent type coverage, it's very cumbersome to switch around; it can deal damage, but most things can hurt it in return. Rest/Sleep Talk Rhyperior, especially, let me down. Often there wasn't a single thing on the team it...
  2. Heatran - The Lava Dome Pokemon

I think I remember someone making a Metal Sound set- after a Metal Sound, Blissey is 2HKOed easily be Life Orb Flamethrower, and it seems quite a fun addition for teams based in the sand and which involve Stealth Rock. This thing seems very versatile and definitely fun to play around with.
  3. Torterra Discussion

It will hopefully get Overgrow activated; if it does, Seed Bomb will be quite painful.
  4. Roserade : The Bouquet Pokémon

I think Weather Ball would go quite nicely on that SpecsArade set. With a sandstorm, WB becomes a 100 bp special Rock move, which is pretty neat on a Pokémon with otherwise medicocre type coverage.
  5. Look Ma, No Hands! ~Machamp Discussion

I'm fairly sure that, as OHKOs are classed in 'other' moves, they don't recieve the accuracy bonus. The ReSTalker is the one I'd use; Machamp's reasonably bulky and gets some funky resists, and Guts boosted Cross Chop is going to hurt a lot. The extra PP from Sleep Talking CC and Stone Edge is...
  6. A Team with Manaphivire

I'm not truly sure if Manaphivire is the focus of my team, though. The idea is to cause damage by simple wear and tear from many walls, each of which still pack a bite. Manaphy's natural bulk is very useful, and then Electivire serves as backup in case something goes amiss. Gliscor@Leftovers...
  7. Why are double battles unpopular?

It's more Bronzong + Rhyperior, isn't it? You can Trick Room with Bronzong, who's immune to Rhyperior's Earthquakes. Surf looks like it might be used a bit too much for that to catch on, though.
  8. I tried to make a team.

Well, I've been lurking for a while now. I might as well post something, eh? This is WiFi, at present, so no Hidden Power suggestions, please. Metagross@Leftovers Impish Nature EVs: 252 HP, 48 Atk, 136 Def, 72 SDef Meteor Mash Rest Sleep Talk Earthquake ReSTalker lead, for Gengar, who is...
  9. Apprentice Program: Round Sixteen

Anomalous Netbattle nick: Ekul Yena Age: 13 Time Zone: Greenwich Meridian Time Regular Online hours: 11:00 to 14:00 in EDT, I think... Experience level: I'm fair at battling, I think. I can predict mediocrely, and have what I think is an OK team. I just need some general advice, really... A...
