  1. White Herb == more Draco Meteor?

Works well for CPU teams in the battle tower, because they believe that all of your pokes have Shadow Tag.
  2. BT Forretress?

I think perhaps Bronzong does a better job of that.
  3. When Trace backfires

I'm guessing the Diamond/Pearl Battle Tower is smart enough to give Sableye lagging tail, because when my Scarfevoir traced Stall the Sableye always went first.
  4. Official Nickname Thread

My Blissey - Paunchica My Gardy - Twililith Muh Rampardos - Blitzerg My Restalk Milotic - Dreamstres (damn you letter cap!) My Hitmontop - Undertoe Muh Dusknoir (to be) - Valkereign My Palkia - Wellhung (originality...ho ho ho!)
  5. So Who has PBR?

I'm still waiting to face either a Crawdaunt or a Kingler and do that. Ah, E3 06 come back to me.
  6. So Who has PBR?

It has a decent 1 player mode that is plenty challenging as you progress. I'm actually glad they cut the story out and went with the action after Colosseum/XD, which made me throw up a little with it's shadow Pokemon garbage. Overall it's basically a battle frontier, and the guy who did the IGN...
  7. So Who has PBR?

I just bought it, my Wii is on at the character customization screen, but I'm sitting on the internets and finishing my team on my DS while reading about it so I know what's I have to look forward to. :(
  8. Is there such thing as a Shiny Mystry Mew?

I have a MYSTRY mew that I obtained myself by going to the event, the name is in Blue (as I was using May) and pretty much is similar to yours, except that I transfered mine over at lvl 59, and it says from Hoenn as well. No shiney, though.
  9. Discussion: Hazers/Pseudohazers in D/P

Meh, Hazebat is a situational thing at best, you just lost a poke and it has an opportunity and come in, likely to die after hazing. That's at least 2 pokes down. Granted, most things you'd want to take a sacrifice to Haze are probably faster than Crobat after the boosts anyhow.
  10. DP Research Thread #1 ("Old")

How do the SE reducing berries work alongside Solid Rock/Filter? I would imagine the damage is reduced twice, does anybody know for sure?
  11. Alien, mutant, and space pokemon

I think it was RBY where some guy says there's a tale that all Pokemon came from outer space. They're ALL ALIENS!
  12. Stealth Rock Discussion

The Forretress love brings a tear to my eye. Keep on rockin' little buddy!
  13. The real WiFi battles will begin soon. (PBR Discussion)

I don't understand the rational behind complaining about how long battles are and then complaining about no 6v6 o_O I'm looking forward to PBR, the whole "keep your team on your Wiimote" thing is a pretty nifty feature if I actually meet some other people who like Pokemans, although I usually...

    Thanks for testing that.
  15. I hear this game doesn't have as good of breeding as Emerald...

The only downside is level 1 Pokes instead of 5, making at-a-glance IV estimations (stats worth checking or not) that much more difficult to do. My Emerald Adamant Ditto @ Everstone passes down his nature just fine with my DP pokes, a bit of misunderstanding still lingers in that department.
  16. Stuff that's wrong with D/P

Lack of fire types pre-national dex is my only issue, really. There are some minor irks here and there but I haven't played a game that doesn't have them. This is easily my favorite Pogeyman game.
  17. DP Research Thread #1 ("Old")

I don't have the answer for that exactly, but it seems like Revenge when "activated" (takes damage first) doesn't deal the attractive looking 180 base damage after technician, but rather double the base 60, which really sucks. My ~30 Technitop was doing something like 60% damage with Revenge w/o...
  18. DP Research Thread #1 ("Old")

I'm interested in the effects of the damage returning berries (Jaboca and Rowap), do they work like mini-counter/mirror coats or is their damage a set %?
  19. Implications of Sandstorm discussion.

When TTar comes into play, does it have that different of an effect than a Poke with intimidate coming into play (except on the special side, of course)? Granted the Stream remains in for other rock pokes to abuse, and the opponent can switch out of the Intimidate debuff, but am I wrong to...
