  1. Other Stall

I'm new to battling but stall definitely seems where I want to be. I really want to make use of Rotom-H so I started there and then added Empoleon and Chesnaught for hazards. Up next I add Gliscor to cover some weaknesses and finally an Unaware CM Clefable to check some boosters and maybe...
  2. Feraligatr

Has anybody thought of using Feraligatr on a Trick Room Team? [SET] name: Trick Room Sweeper move 1: Waterfall move 2: Ice Fang / Ice Beam move 3: Crunch move 4: Superpower item: Life Orb ability: Encourage nature: Brave evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA ivs: 0 Spe
  3. Just a poison stall team.

You can always run Whirlwind on Sigilyph instead of Substitute. That way if a dark switches in you can just Whirlwind him out and keep going. Should help build up hazard damage too.
  4. Just a poison stall team.

I know he's not nearly bulky as Cofagrigus but you could try a Sub/Disable Gengar. He blocks Rapid Spin and should cause a lot of switches.
  5. Ambipom vs the evil of Critical Hits! (my first warstory)

I'm glad more people are using Ambipom as a starter. I'm curious as to what your moveset is. I'm assuming Fake Out, Return/Double Hit, Brick Break, and U-Turn? I Run that with Shadow Claw over Brick Break. Also, what item do you use on him?
  6. Favorite shiny...

    Scyther would be my favorite.
  7. Spiritomb Experiment- PP/Pressure Staller

First off, Epistaxis, you've sounded like a real asshole so far this thread. I have to agree with X-Codes. It just seems silly to use Grudge when you can use Destiny Bond. I'm not into draining PP but even if I was, I'd still rather have the pokemon dead instead of leaving them with three...
  8. It Don't Look Bronze To Me... (Bronzong Discussion)

I run the following moveset on my Bronzong: -Explosion -Stealth Rock -Hypnosis -Grass Knot It has worked out pretty well usually sleeping a pokemon, SR on the switch and then blowing up the counter. I have rarely used Grass Knot and might possibly replace it with Earthquake.
  9. The perfect base 600!

I always pictured Ghost/Steel as a floating suit of armor.
  10. Speed Tiers List (courtesy of Mekkah's magic numbers)

Just wondering if I'm reading this right. I have an Adamant Ambipom at 115 base speed with 252 EVs. If I switch him to Jolly he'd outspeed the following which he wouldn't outspeed before? 359 - 252 Jolteon, Crobat, Aerodactyl (130) 350 - +pers/252 Gengar, Tauros, Espeon (110) 349 - 252...
  11. Question about EVs

I think he was talking about how 249 isn't divisible by four thus making a bad number to use for EVs.
  12. Offline Battle Tower teams

Win Streak of 64 before I got beat by an Umbreon with Swagger/Screech :( Ambipom@Life Orb Adamant Nature -Fake Out -Return -U-Turn -Shadow Claw Heatran@Choice Scarf Mild Nature -Flamethrower -Earth Power -Dragon Pulse -Overheat Hariyama@Leftovers Trait: Thick Fat Adamant Nature -Knock Off...
  13. Porygon-Z

How exactly does Tri Attack work? I've never used it before but Serebii says it has a 20% chance of something.
  14. Some thoughts on leading Pokemon

PHazing is getting a similar effect of Haze without using Haze itself. This is usually in the form of Roar or Whirlwind.

  16. Does Yawn break Sleep Clause?

I doubt it because it's still a sleep move. It's not like it's an attack with a chance of sleep.
  17. Made Of Steel- Steelix Discussion

I never found room for Gyro Ball really. I like running Earthquake/Stone Edge and there were always two moves I wanted more. I agree with Steel sucking for attacking.
  18. need help countering SWAMPERT

Electrivire is a good pokemon but the problem is it dies to Swampert's Earthquakes very easily.
  19. Can Pinsir effectively begin battles?

Scizor learns Brick Break, which is also useful against Ttar.
  20. IV Battle Matchup Service!

Thanks, this is a great idea.
