Scyther is not used, even with good spinner support, due to movepool issues. Pretty much any steel could lol at him. If you intend on using Roost, literally ANY STEEL would wall him cold.

I couldn't agree more. "LOL uncompetitive bcoz luck" is not a good reason to try to get sand veil + sand stream banned. Pretty much every attacking move will hit chomp with sand veil up more often than not, the chance of ice beam missing is (correct me if I'm wrong) less than paralysis...

But the thing is, I don't agree with a complex ban, at least Drizzle + Swift Swim had a purpose. Sand Veil + Sand Stream's only purpose is to satisfy people who can't accept the fact their attack missed

I absolutely agree. IMO Garchomp should be discussed, not Sand Veil. Garchomp is pretty much the only thing you'll see using sand veil. Your attacks still hit more often than not, which means Garchomp doesn't ALWAYS win. Also, SubChomp can only run its STABs, which are resisted by stuff like...

Sand Veil shouldn't be (complex) banned, people are only angry because their ice beam missed due to sand veil. Sand Veil is not uncompetitive due to all the weather wars in the meta, rain and sun nullify sand veil. It's also not uncompetitive because luck based strategies have existed LONG...

Forgot to mention, it would be great if Roost was allowed, Tomohawk appreciates recovery so it can be useful throughout the match, and removing the Flying-type for a turn can help in some situations

I'd say allow Encore, that would cause a few switches to get something in and put the battle in your favour. With Prankster, it can force people out pretty well, and would help Tomohawk's purpose of momentum
