1. Ampharos EVs: Lost

Just ran the calculations for you, based off those IVs and the quoted advice: HP: 74 SATK: 252 ATK: 184
2. How far are you in dp?

40 hours in, and I've just arrived at Snowpoint City (I'm supposed to go to the lake next to there for plot but screw that I want a badge). I want to finish quickly but I always am really enjoying taking my time so who knows what'll happen.
3. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

BL: Borderline, between UU and OU. Banned from UU, considered not good enough to be OU "standards" but still possibly effective in OU. Go into Ranger Net, and onn the Ranger Net screen, press R, X, and left (on the D-pad) simultaneously. This opens up the ability to input passwords. Use that...
4. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

If your pokemon has two hearts of happiness (or more, if that's possible?0 on the happiness checker, then it'll be able to get the footprint ribbon. Like all ribbons, it means nothing, just an indicator of something. I guess if you didn't have the happiness checker on your poketch and you...
5. in your opinion, good pokes that are being overlooked this gen

I think Medicham is pretty overlooked. I mean, it's on jumpman's threat list, but I don't think I've ever seen it on a single RMT, and I do check out RMT occasionaly. Which is a shame, since it's definitley improved from last gen. Aerodactyl and Breloom, two other favorites of mine, seem...
6. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

Of course they're not acknowledged. :/
7. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

The dude who lets you into the underground eventually has you bury gems and is like "if you go and find them and dig them up they will be WAY BIGGER LOL~" so I would imagine that's the easiest way. I think the biggest I've found just by mining walls is like 60+ though, so luck also helps.
8. Apprentice Program: Round Nineteen

I waited like all day Sunday for this >< Netbattle nick: Plasma Age: 17 Time zone: PST Regular Online Hours (in EDT!!!!): Most weekdays (except Monday and Thursday) 6pm-3am (EDT), or so. Weekends really all weekend but depends on my schedule; I'm a musician so I'm busy often at weird...
9. The New "hax items" Thread

No, but if you're halfway rational you realize that you're playing a game based on luck. I've lost games because I missed and the opponent crit. I've won games because Ice Beam froze someone. Bad luck "doesn't feel very good," but good luck does. You can't have one without the other...
10. The New "hax items" Thread

Yes. I don't think any of them offer significantly more powerful effects than other items to deserve being banned, and IMO that's the only reason something should be banned - "LOL LUCK" is not a viable argument. I mean, the ONLY ARGUMENT in the last thread against them is "but what if u lose...
11. Breloom Discussion (yaaaay)

What about using Seed Bomb over Leech Seed in the standard ADV set? With Poison Heal giving 1/8th a turn, is that enough to then let you have much better type coverage with two attacks?
12. Porygon2 or PorygonZ?

The point of Shadowball is to make Porygon-Z a Ghost with Conversion, so that Megahorn and Close Combat suck and fail, respectively, against it, as opposed to Dark type which gets wtfownd by both of those attacks. I really like Footnote's set, but I'm not sure how viable it is.
13. Implications of Sandstorm discussion.

I'm all for moving TTar, Salamence, Heracross to ubers, or creating some sort of tier between OU and Ubers or something >> However, when it comes to anyone else + sandstorm/sandstream, I don't see it as a big problem. I mean, being forced to devote a slot to Hippowdon makes it more balanced...
14. Implications of Sandstorm discussion.

The thing is, though, that because Hippowdon doesn't benefit from the Sandstorm, it's much more balanced for him to have it. Using 1/6 pokemon just to give Rhyperior a 50% bonus to special defense? Not so broken. And personally, if you go beyond that, you have to start devoting your team to...
15. Implications of Sandstorm discussion.

Yeah, Ttar is the only problem here. Although... Probopass learns Sandstorm and that gives him a monster 225 base Special Defense.
16. Implications of Sandstorm discussion.

Well, people were complaining that they couldn't find a Special Wall besides Blissey, so here's Tyranitar to take that up for them. Except, instead of just Walling with the euqivalent of 150 base Sp Def (!), it also mauls a ton of things to death. Does this also work for Ground pokemon? It's...
17. First Competetive Team Please Help

Hazers? Well, there's some that can use the move Haze, most notably Vaporeon and Weezing but Dragonite, Gengar, and some others can learn it by breeding if you really need it. A hazer can also refer to someone who uses Roar or Whirlwind, and the list for that is really long so I won't...
18. Hariyama - The Pimp Slap Pokemon.

I'd name one Asashoryu. Or, my personal favorite wrestler, Hakuho. He'll be Yokozuna after next tournament. You'll see.
19. ingame wi-fi RMT

I think I will, then. :D Well if I drop Shadow Punch from Dusknoir and Slaking, I lose out on having a Ghost type move which was useful if I remember the threat thing correctly. I'd rather not drop Slaking, mind you, but I would be okay using Heracross instead maybe. Hmm. Now I don't...
20. ingame wi-fi RMT

Alright, I'll wait to hear more opinions on this since there's clearly some discrepancy. :) Although... I really am thinking of dropping any support move from Rhyperior and going all out attack, but I doubt that's the best way to do it. Oh, duh! I have a male Smeargle with wish waiting to...
