Is the Unova Link calibration method in RNG Reporter (9.96.5 BETA) functional? I've been attempting it with Black 2 and my original DS, but I'm not getting any results.

Yes, though you can also use Unova Link to find your parameters more quickly. See the OP for details on how to do this in PPRNG (the process should be similar when RNG Reporter is updated to support this method).

For BW2? Start a file and save at least once, then you can use the Unova Link method (see the OP) to find your parameters very quickly and easily. You can't find your parameters without starting the game at all.

I really don't want to sound like a pain (I probably am), but I noticed that a new version of RNG Reporter that's compatible with XP will be released, for which I am very grateful ('tis a great relief). When can we expect to see this?

Thanks for that. It appear exceptionally easy, as does BW2 calibration. Now I just need the latest RNG Reporter to work for XP or a new computer, but that's out of my hands unfortunately.

You have an IV frame of 879. xD Don't enter "9999" in the Max Frame box. Leave it at 1, so you won't have to do any IV frame advances. Is this a bug, then?

9.96 parameters. 9.95 parameters. 9.96 Seed To Times. 9.95 Seed To Times. As you can see, both the parameters and seed are the same in both versions, yet I receive differing results. I've Entralink RNGed successfully with 9.95 last night, too.

Piece of advice: If you have HGSS, use that for breeding on Gen IV. RNGing is essentially the same, but you won't have to deal with DPPt's annoying WNPCs in Solaceon Town.
