Substitute does not block taunt in D/P, it goes right through. It did back in advance, but I haven't played ADV since forever. o_O

This. Its impossible for a hack filter to get something that's hacked unless the person has no knowledge of what they're hacking. The hex codes someone brought up is preserved in PokeSav, just that the default is straight 0's. Events would have other hex values, I think.

Actually, the filters are incredibly easy to bypass with an AR+PokeSav and some basic knowledge. The hack filters only get the extreme stuff, like excess EVs, and illegal moves and such.

Suicune comes to mind for mantine.

You can PokeSav events and transfer them locally by mystery gift. Could be that.

Don't forget Uxie. It uses yawn with great efficiency. From what I see after I use yawn, the opponent usually switches, unless the they have sleep talk or something of the sort.

Wait, knock off permanently takes out items? How does pikachu outspeed the CS chomp? If I remember correctly, knock off loses effect after you switch. Or at least that's how it went in ADV. Did it get a boost like taunt? O__O

Nope. The distribution is done with a cartridge and a DS that distributes the signal. It would be tough to hack the cart wirelessly, but a physical dump should be easy for anyone that can get their hands on one. The save thing is a brilliant idea though. I'm interested in such save.

Well, I guess you can attempt to trap stuff your team can't handle at all. You also get walled by dark types. Ttar comes to mind as it resists explosion and has psychic immunity.

Easy really. Like someone said before, go download shoddy and experiment with teams. See what works, and what doesn't. Seeing a pokemon destroy your team once will prepare you for it the next time. Hopefully. >_>

It might be interesting as a starter. You can screech on the first turn, assuming they expect fake out and then attack.

I was under the impression that sychronize only works when your opponent status's you, not when you get it from an item or your own moves.
