Hey Antar, I was wondering what the meaning was behind the teammate percentages under the moveset statistics. For example, under Sylveon, when Krookodile has +12.121%, does that mean that 12% of teams that have Sylveon also have Krookodile? Or that the baseline Krookodile usage increased by 12%...
  2. Voter Identification Thread for OU Suspect Test Round 11

Gonna leave my reqs for the current ladder here. I'll update later with reqs for the suspect ladder.
  3. Meloetta (QC 3/3) (GP 2/2)

Yeah, I agree that Calm Mind is Meloetta's way to go if you want to make the best of it. But, people do like running Relic Song for late game cleaning. Although it is a fairly unreliable set up move, Meloetta-P can work with proper support. Although, I do agree that there are a lot of better...
  4. Meloetta (QC 3/3) (GP 2/2)

I'm kind of iffy about the bulky CM set, it seems totally outclassed by offensive CM. Meloetta is not nearly bulky enough on the physical side (which most people try to hit) to run a bulky CM set. Also, take out the Specially Defensive set. Meloetta should always be offensive. Almost...
  5. Snorlax [WIP]

I would slash Leftovers on the CB set (and call it tank or offensive) or offer a more offensive spread for ProtectLax in AC. Also, ditto to what they said about set order.
  6. Gen 5 The OU Viability Ranking thread

Tornadus-T is definitely A rank, not S. It depends so heavily on rain support that it is very hard for it to function by itself. Otherwise, it wouldn't threaten much with 70% or 50% accurate STAB move. It can punch huge holes under the rain, but so can Volcarona with rapid spin support...
  7. np: UU Stage 9 - Welcome Home

/B/utterfree, you're wrong. Look at this post to see that there was a vote, and that there were different options in the vote.
  8. Rhyperior

Well, Ice Punch shouldn't really be used if Rhyperior isn't running speed to outrun Gligar (I guess if you just wanted to hit it on the switch you could). So I'd rather use Fire Punch to be both hitting Virizion and Bronzong for some damage. Although Fire Punch doesn't do much to max/max...
  9. np: UU Stage 9 - Welcome Home

I believe there were four options: 1. Ban sand entirely 2. Just ban Sand Veil 3. Complex ban of sand and Sand Veil 4. Ban just Stoutland The first option was chosen because Stoutland and Sand Veil Gligar weren't the only "problems" with sand. The passive damage was hindering to Life Orb...
  10. Rhyperior

Maybe mention Fire Punch in OO to hit Bronzong, Shaymin, and Virizion? Also, take out Ice Punch from the AC for the Tank set. It's only merit would be to hit Flygon. Virizion would be hit just as hard with Fire Punch and Gligar would outspeed and could stall out Rhyperior.
  11. Tyranitar【BW2 Revamp】【QC: 3/3】【GP: 2/2】

I think that chople berry deserves a slash on the stealth rock set because otherwise ttar struggles to be useful other than tanking hits. Also, chople can be used to bluff choice sets. And, this set order is kind of weird. I would think that the stealth rock set is a lot more common in this...
  12. The UU Viability Ranking Thread

You are overestimating Roserade. It is actually pretty frail and works defensively because of its typing. It certainly cannot come in for free on half the metagame, because almost everything has something to hit Roserade (mostly because of its typing and because it's so widely used). Roserade...

  14. Untitled 8 (Peaked #3)

Yeah, hazards can be pretty annoying. Toxic Spikes can be particularly annoying, but most team don't run them because Roserade/Nidoking/Nidoqueen/Qwilfish are on every other team. Usually, the offensive nature of my team limits the number of hazards my opponent's team can set up. Still, I tried...
  15. Untitled 8 (Peaked #3)

Introduction Hi, I'm mrb and you probably don't know me. I usually lurk, but post every so often and consider UU my favorite tier. I have been using this team for a couple weeks and grown quite attached to it. Now, with the tier changes, I think it's finally time to hang the team up and finally...
  16. Genesect

I think that a non-Scarf full-out attacking Genesect is better off using an Expert Belt rather than a Life Orb. Expert Belt can bluff a Scarf and can still add some power because of Genesect's amazing coverage. Plus, Genesect has a great defensive typing with pretty good defensive stats, so...
  17. Damage reducing berries.

You really don't see type-resist berries in this metagame mainly because there are so many other items. Salamence and Dragonite hardly ever run Yache because it is simply not worth it in a metagame where you have to hit as hard as possible. The one exception is specially defensive Tyranitar...
  18. UU Stats: September 2012

I see Tornadus easily becoming one of the biggest threats - both its Rain Dance and Acrobatics sets. It requires very little setup, has AMAZING speed, and its flying STAB works really well in UU. We don't have much to resist Hurricane / Acrobatics. Plus, it can work great with Kingdra by using...
  19. UU Pokemon of the Week

I think I'll try out Specs Roserade, but how does it compare to Specs Rotom-C? One of the biggest advantages that Rotom-C has over Roserade is the electric STAB, meaning it can Volt Switch to keep momentum instead of being setup fodder after having to go for Leaf Storm. But, the natural cure...
  20. The Best Pokemon in UU

Hmm, no mention of Raikou? I think that with these tier changes, Raikou is often forgotten, but it still remains one of the most dangerous pokemon in uu. SubCM is fast, reasonably bulky, and can set up on a myriad of pokemon like P2, Umbreon, and Roserade who would otherwise check it reasonably...
