i think it might work if it was a gengar with flame orb to cripple physical attackers and instead of taunt add another...but it would basicly would look like a sub+3 attacks gengar but with flame orb and trick instead

i have run that set but instead with hp grass...you could add this to the other options list or slash hp grass and ice, ice for dragons and flyings and hp grass for gastrodon,rotom-w etc (IF under a sub) and u could say that the optiions is depending wut ur team needs to counter the most

i think expert belt could also be consider to fake a choice item when using u turn instead of roost,so people think ur a mixed scarf set
