I think Metagross is the best Mega in the format by far, and even if we just go by usage alone it has more (SM Cup, all rounds) usage than Tapu Koko despite being a Mega. Splashability is certainly one aspect of how good a Pokemon is in a format, but at least for generic goodstuffs builds...
