1900+ and going undefeated UU team

This is a random team I built in about 5 minutes and it has yet to lose on PS. I'm not sure if the team is actually good or I've just been playing some people that aren't that great, so thats why I would like others' opinions.

Alomomola Leftovers
252 HP/ 252 DEF/ 4 SpDEF
Impish Nature
Ability: Regenerator
Wish
Protect
Toxic
Knock Off

Very Basic toxic stalling set. This thing can wall any physically attacking pokemon. Its also my favourite pokemon to use wish, because it also has regenerator to heal itself when you switch to the pokemon you want to heal. I put knock off on to make toxic stalling all the more effective. I often lead with this pokemon.

Crobat @no item
252 ATK/ 252 SPD/ 4HP
Jolly Nature
Ability: Infiltrator
Acrobatics
Cross Poison
Defog
Whirlwind

This guy is basically here to get rid of hazards and whirlwind away setting up Scollipedes. He's also a great check for Heracross. Ive always preferred Acrobatics over Brave Bird on Crobat. From my experience, Acrobatics kills in the same amount of hits as Brave Bird to any pokemon, but with no recoil. So I find Brave Bird pointless. Cross Poison is basically there to get rid of fairies, mainly Florges. Other than that, I don't expect much from this guy, and he usually gets sac'd when the opposing teams entry hazard pokemon are dead.

Crawdaunt @Assault Vest
252 HP/ 252 ATK/ 4 SpDEF
Adamant Nature
Ability: Adaptability
Aqua Jet
Waterfall
Knock Off
Superpower

Ive tried this guy with a dragon dance set, and I was extremely dissatisfied. Even at +1 speed he gets outsped my many pokemon, and its very difficult to get off 2 d-dances due to his lack of bulk. So I mainly use this guy for revenge killing, and to knock off leftovers on certain walls. He usually comes out for some late-game cleaning up.

Chandelure Flame Orb
252 SpATK/ 252 SPD/ 4 HP
Timid Nature
Ability: Flash Fire
Flamethrower
Shadow Ball
HP Fighting
Trick

I like this flame orb set to go up against Bisharp's. They be all like "Im gonna OHKO with sucker punch" and they end up getting burned and their item stolen. From there you can take a sucker punch and OHKO with flamethrower or switch out to whoever. The flame orb is also pretty good for bluffing a choice item which is commonly used by Chandelures. HP fighting is for Hydreigons. Protip: if you have Chandelure out and they have a Hydreigon on their team, they WILL switch to it.

diggersby.jpg

Diggersby @Choice Scarf
252 ATK/ 220 SPD/ 36 HP
Jolly Nature
Ability: Huge Power (duh)
Earthquake
Return
Hammer Arm
U-Turn

This guy is an absolute beast. Excadrills need to take notes. With Jolly 220 SPD EVs and choice scarf, he has just enough speed to outspeed Mega Manectric, which is a great thing about this set. In most games, once every rock and steel pokemon is dead, Diggersby is usually able to get me the W by hitting everyone with return. Its pretty much the only move I need on him. Only one thing: please dont say tho when you sweep a team with Diggersby.

460.png

Abomasnow @Abomasite
252 HP/ 252 SpATK/ 4 ATK
Quiet Nature
Ability: Soundproof
Blizzard
Energy Ball
Ice Shard
Earthquake

This big guy is the star of the team. Definitely one of the underrated mega-pokemon. His bulk is definitely underestimated and can actually take a fire move from some pokemon, if the situation calls to where its not great to switch out. He is already slow as s**t so I figured quiet would be better than mild/rash so I wouldnt have to sacrifice bulk. I'm debating about switching energy ball for giga drain. Earthquake is there when you predict the fire pokemon switch-in. Also, soundproof comes in very handy in the rare situation where a Noivern/Exploud locks themselves into boomburst with a choice item, so you get a free switch-in to Abomasnow if you havent evolved it yet. It also helps for Mega-Gardevoir. And Mega-Abomasnow gets Snow Warning when you evolve it, so there's no loss in having soundproof. Unfortunatley he gets completely walled by EZ Bake Oven Rotom.

Threats:

Mega Gardevoir
Lets face it, this pokemon is a threat to every team. Mega-Gardevoir is guaranteed to get at least one kill against this team. When I see Gardevoir come in, I will usually just damage it with whatever is out at the time because it at least 2HKO's everyone on my team, so switching out is pointless. I can usually weaken it with one pokemon then finish it off with Diggersby. Im quite certain Mega Gardevoir will be banned in UU, but lets save that for another thread.

Mega Aggron
This thing is just too bulky. I can weaken it with Chandelure but it will get OHKO'd if Aggron has EQ. Diggersby will then finish it off.

Kingdra
Not the biggest threat because I can usually beat it with Abomasnow, but if it gets set up with focus energy then it can easily OHKO Abomasnow with a crit Draco Meteor.

Rotom-H
This pokemon is difficult to deal with. They are usually choiced in some way, so I have to guess right every time whether to switch into Chandelure or Diggersby. I usually go with Chandelure so I dont have to risk Diggersby getting will-o-wisped.

Besides these 4 pokemon I havent run into any serious threats yet. Im sure there are some but I cant think of any at the moment. Let me know what you think.

Hello :] First off congrats on the success you are having with the team, i hope with my advice you can do even better with it.

Firstly, i want to go through the movesets/EVs and comment on each of the mons.

Alomomola: This pokemon i have always considered to be one of the biggest set up fodders in the game and running Knock Off over a STAB water move really isn't helping it's cause. Without Sclad/Waterfall any sub Bisharp or even just normal Bisharp can set up on you and proceed to do a number to your team. I know Knock Off did get a buff in Gen 6 but that isn't good enough reason to be running it on an Alomomola which should have always have a moveset of Wish/Protect/Toxic/STAB water move.

Crobat: I can see what you are trying to do with Crobat but this mon needs a total revamp. Crobat should be running the standard stallbreaker set and have a moveset of Brave Bird/U-Turn/Roost/Defog. Roost gives crobat reliable recovery, Defog clears the hazards like you want it to do, Brave Bird hits hard and U-Turn scouts/provides momentum. Nice and simple but always an effective moveset to be using on everyone's favourite poison type. The EVs maximise Crobat's bulk coupled with it's fantastic typing while still allowing it to outspeed base 115s and below.

Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 176 HP / 192 Atk / 136 Spd / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Defog
- Roost

Crawdaunt: Good option going with a 4 attack set, i have personally never liked Crawdaunt as a set up mon and I think it should be used for it's best trait, a wallbreaker. However, wallbreakers love power and Assault Vest is really providing nothing. With this in mind, I think you should change Assault Vest to Life Orb. Life Orb gives Crawdaunt a 30% power boost on it's already ridiculously strong STABs and really Assault Vest boosted Crawdaunt's SpDef to 213 which is pretty mediocre anyway.

Chandelure: Trick Flame Orb is definitely a cool Chandelure set and one that was pioneered in order to beat it's arch nemesis, Snorlax. I suggest, however, changing HP fighting for Energy Ball because in Gen 6, Hidden Power's got a huge debuff down to 60 Base Power meaning they are almost pointless to use. Energy ball hits things like Hippowdon, Suicune, Diggersby, Keldeo and Blastoise all harder than anything you have on that set, so in my mind, you should make that change but other than that, a cool set in the wake of a meta riddled with Bisharp.

Diggersby: As a Scarf mon there is no point not running 252 EVs in speed since at worst, you wanna speed tie with other Scarf Diggersby. 36 HP EVs hardly provide any bulk and as a Scarfer, Diggersby shouldn't be taking/switching into any hits anyway. Also Hammer arm has fairly redundant coverage with Earthquake so i suggest you change it Wild Charge to hit pesky bulky waters that can otherwise wall your team if Abomasnow goes down.

Abomasnow: The Abomasnow set is fine, just a small detail though but maybe you should opt to run a +SpA -Def (Mild i believe it is) Nature as you have Alomomola to plug that weakness (of physical Fire, Fighting, Bug, Rock moves) anyway and since Abomasnow isn't on a trickroom team, it shouldn't really be opting for a lowered speed nature regardless of how slow it is.

Note: These changes are here in case you don't want to change any of your mons (which i think you should do) but if you like the team and want to keep it how it is, don't worry about what i'm suggesting below.

One thing i have noticed with your team is an enormous weakness to Zapdos. 5/6 of your mons are OHKO'ed by solely Thunderbolt and Heatwave after rocks (see calcs below) and Diggersby the only hope of being able to outspeed and kill it can be easily checked by mons such as Suicune, Hippo, Cofagrigus etc. Your team also lacks a Stealth Rocker and for this reason i suggest changing Diggersby for Hippowdon and making Chandelure a Choice Scarf set instead. This will help with your weakness to electric but also give a nice team synergy between Alomomola,Hippowdon and Crobat resisting each others weaknesses nicely while giving you Stealth Rocks (best move in the game) and a phaser that isn't Crobat (who is very mediocre at that anyway).

252 SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Alomomola: 536-632 (100.3 - 118.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 344-408 (91.9 - 109%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Life Orb Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Chandelure: 203-239 (77.7 - 91.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Life Orb Zapdos Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Abomasnow: 504-598 (131.2 - 155.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Crawdaunt: 601-710 (224.2 - 264.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SDef / 8 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Whirlwind
- Earthquake
- Slack Off

That's about all I have for now though, I hope my changes help better your team and I hope you continue to enjoy your time playing XY/UU as it is a very fun metagame. If you need anything else, feel free to head over to the UnderUsed Room on Pokemon Showdown for anymore assistance with teambuilding but yeah, Good Luck!
