I haven't played a ton of OU this gen, but I was messing around with Specs Primarina and it does some absolutely insane things. This is the second version of this team(I had other versions of Prim Ghold). Not incredibly consistent and does require you to make plays and hit moves a lot but very fun. Brought me to my highest peak.

Primarina @ Choice Specs
Ability: Liquid Voice
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 76 HP / 252 SpA / 180 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic Noise
- Moonblast
- Hydro Pump
- Hydro Cannon

I know it seems weird to run both hydro pump and cannon, but honestly surf is so close to bp to psynoise that i never found surf really worth clicking for any rolls. Hydro Cannon is a more accurate hydro pump that gets some insane ohkos. Tera fairy to power up moonblast + remove kyurem freeze dry weakness. I didn't really find myself ever wanting to tera this mon though
calcs:
252+ SpA Choice Specs Primarina Hydro Cannon vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Vessel of Ruin Ting-Lu: 492-582 (95.7 - 113.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Primarina Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Slowking-Galar: 195-231 (49.4 - 58.6%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Primarina Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Ogerpon-Wellspring: 258-304 (85.7 - 100.9%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

252+ SpA Choice Specs Primarina Hydro Cannon vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Pecharunt: 441-519 (116 - 136.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Primarina Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 204+ SpD Garganacl: 202-238 (50 - 58.9%) -- 73.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
tera water garg isnt safe either
Gholdengo @ Metal Coat
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 120 HP / 192 SpA / 196 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Make It Rain
- Recover
- Thunderbolt

The team's premier stallbreaker. HP lets you live 2 crunches from idef zama(do not try against offensive zama). Idk i stole this spread from an old sample. Works really well to threaten slowking-g and av mola which can give prim some trouble. Not to mention you almost autowin against stall unless they are tera steel clod, and even then the combination of psynoise spam + trick darkrai + ghold lets you do some bullshit

Zapdos @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave
- Roost

Max def zapdos. Running twave b/c otherwise this team is slow as hell and I have no skill. Handles zama, oger and generally discourages most physical attackers from touching you ever. Not much to say here. Also nice pivoting with volt switch. I heavily considered u-turn + discharge instead but I figured that twave was more important against offense.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 212 SpD / 40 Spe
Calm Nature
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock

I really like spdef tran nowadays. Able to trap slowking-g really easily and remove an otherwise big obstacle to the team. Also magma storm is just insane chip(lol just hit idk). Also helps that tran is incredibly stable vs annoying mons like gholdengo ironmoth.
Great Tusk @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Headlong Rush
- Ice Spinner
- Rapid Spin
- Close Combat

Boots tusk is probably the most reliable form of removal in the tier. I love having CC to hit corvi + tera normal dnite + dent Ting-Lu. Tera Steel to help in a couple spots against tera dnite(Flying, fairy, and normal) and can also in a pinch beat kyurem. Wanted offensive rather than defensive tusk here because it generally just felt better into ting lu/samu.

Darkrai @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Bad Dreams
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Sludge Bomb
- Ice Beam
- Trick

The goat speed control and general nuisance. Trick anything against fatter teams to probably instantly cripple a mon. Amazing for when you fuck up vs fairy/ground/flynite. Incredibly good in the webs mu. Helps you beat speed booster tusk. Not much else to say here. Also I won like 4 different games b/c i just led off with this and ohkoed deospeed since this team looks more like its scarf ghold than scarf rai.

Threats:
-subtect kyurem farms you. basically cant let it get a sub up ever or else you have to sack. Prim and ghold can live a hit in a pinch but generally this is probably the worst mon to run into
-idef zama. Despite having a zapdos your zap can easily lose to certain idef sets(tera electric, even rest zama is insane to deal with)
-hazard stack + balloon ghold is a pain to deal with. If the battle drags on you probably lose

Replays(I lowk lucked half of these games but shhh):

Hey! I wanted to comment on your RMT. I will do in terms of the team per se, but also about the whole RMT structure.

(i) Team

  • Originality: You do not see that often a CSpecs Primarina and even less with Hydro Cannon. So this is kind of original. I also agree that Darkrai + Gholdengo playing about who is Scarf is a good way to catch some people off guard.
  • Team composition and description: I like the team overall, it seems a bit slow (you even mentioned it) but seems like a good balance, with some stallbreaker options + speed control with Darkrai with or without CScarf. It also seems like "easy" to pilot, but maybe it is complicate to use Primarina as a wincon/breaker.
  • Threats and replays: Fine sections, I would also add that Ogerpon might be a threat if it teras and SD in time, as it can overcome Zapdos with some slight chip. Raging Bolt is also really scary.
  • Pokémon suggestions: Overall, I really like this team. But I believe it has some drawbacks in the defensive backbone. What I would recommend is going with Pex over Heatran and then Treads over Tusk. I believe that Raging Bolt is annoying and Tusk many times is not enough. Your Primarina is Specs so it cannot try to Tera + CM against Raging Bolt either. Treads brings role compression + check to Bolt. Pex can be a good addition improving Kyurem + Ogerpon-W + Zamazenta MU. You could even go with a Eject Button set to go then to your Primarina or Darkrai if needed, or just a HDB. Another crazy option could be Defog defenisve Scizor to help against Kyurem + hazards. However, I feel like the team seems to be more balanced than offensive, which is normally the Scizor's brew. It would also run U-turn to bring Primarina in. Finally, I would recommend a slower but more offensive Gholdengo EV spread set that brings a lot of progress: 108 HP/252+ SpAtk/148 Spe. I loved it.

(ii) RMT composition

  • Structure: Fine, to the point.
  • Description: I think you explained what was necessary. However, maybe more specific scenarios or lines could be great.
  • Aesthetics: A bit more polishness could be appreciated.
Overall, good job with the team and the peak!
