1st post and UU RMT

Hey guys! This is my first RMT. I just recently got into competitive battling and I have been working on this team for a couple of days. I've had some success with it, but I still think some advice or criticism would be very helpful. Anyways, here it is:

Pikachu@Light Ball
Ability: Static
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252Spe/252SpA/6SpD
-Thunderbolt
-Surf
-Hidden Power Ice
-Substitute

I know you're probably laughing right now that I'm using a Pikachu. Well, don't. This thing is extremely effective as a lead. It can outspeed a lot of uu leads and hit them hard with the excellent type coverage of Electric, Water, and Ice. So far I've swept through 3 entire teams with this guy without ever sending in another Pokemon. The only thing he really fears are priority moves such as Ambipom's Fake Out. I can't say enough good things about this little guy. The 6 leftover Evs are in Special Defense because if I put them in Hp, Pika would only be able to sub 3 times.

Steelix@Leftovers
Ability: Rock Head
Nature: Naughty
EVs: 252Hp/132Atk/126Def
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Stealth Rock
-Explosion

Steelix and Lanturn are by far the most important members of my team. They are the workhorses and the foundation of my team. Steelix is, in my opinion, the best physical wall in uu. He can take hits like nobody's business. He also provides much needed Stealth Rock Support. Earthquake and Stone Edge provide unresisted type coverage so he can do a little attacking of his own. Finally, explosion is for knocking out that pokemon on the other team that just won't go down. As an added bonus, Steelix has a tendency to attract Grass types in so Scyther can set up on them.

Lanturn@Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 106Hp/152SpA/252SpD
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Thunder Wave

Lanturn is the other half of the core of my team. Her job is to soak up special attacks and spread paralysis. Paralysis support is vital to my team because it allows Porygon2 to attempt a sweep and Steelix and Lanturn are guaranteed to move first. Also, parahax can come in very handy:D

Scyther@Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 252Atk/232Spe/6Hp
-Swords Dance
-X-Scissor
-Aerial Ace
-Pursuit

My physical sweeper. Switch in on a grass or psychic and Swords Dance on the switch. Extremely fast and with a Swords Dance and Stealth Rock Support can KO a lot of stuff in uu. Pretty self-explanatory. I'm looking for a move to replace Pursuit, however, as it really doesn't do much for me.

dpmba106.png

Hitmonlee@Choice Scarf
Ability: Limber
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252Spe/252Atk/6Hp
-Close Combat
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Blaze Kick

Hitmonlee is my revenge killer, and he is a great one. Choice Scarf gives him a 409 Speed stat which allows him to outspeed most non-scarfed pokemon in uu. The moves listed provide great type coverage. He can stop most sweepers right in their tracks.

dpmba233.png

Porygon2@Leftovers
Ability: Trace
Nature: Modest
EVs: 152Def/152SpD/206SpA
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Recover
-Thunder Wave

The given EVs might look a little weird, but since Pory's speed sucks, I decided to give him some EVs in defense so he can take a couple hits during his sweep. With proper paralysis support, Pory can be one of the most dominant Special Sweepers in uu.

My basic strategy is simple: Steelix and Lanturn provide support and opportunities for Scyther and Pory to come in and sweep while absorbing hits and maybe getting a few Kos of their own, while Hitmonlee waits for an opportunity to get a quick revenge KO. I hope you like my team and any suggestions or criticism is welcome.
