1st RMT...Double Lead

Smeargle (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 96 HP/120 Def/252 Spd/40 SDef
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Trick
- Destiny Bond
- Lunar Dance

A standard anti-lead. Against the quicker leads, they often do not expect Scarf, so they are Spored and then I can freely switch to Gliscor to set up. Bulkier leads often are met with trick, unless I believe they may be Choiced. Especially Pokemon like lead Heatran who consequently can ruin my whole team. Lunar Dance is mainly filler, but can be used in a pinch to bring a sweeper that was inevitably damaged back in at full power. Including my T-Tar, CB Scizor or Life Orb Gengar. Destiny Bond serves no purpose then to get a cheap late game kill if Scarf is still on Smeargle.
---
Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Taunt

The Lead 2.0 on this team. Almost always follows up an induced switch by Smeargle, and due to his typing and defense is rarely in a bad match-up. Quite often, the switch-in will be another pokemon looking to set up, and can be Taunted by Gliscor. Otherwise, this Gliscor is very standard, but it's sturdiness and speed often make it a fair late-game sweeper.
---
Gyarados (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP/72 Atk/96 Def/184 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge

This bulky set is my most frequent switch in. Not only is it the most safest switch in on the team, it's often a switch-in to a pokemon threatening Gliscor with Ice Beam. DD Dance is effective against would-be counters. However, due to this Gyrados being my most common switch in, I've been contemplating using Rest. Most of my stuggles with this set have been with Kingdra and Swampert.
---
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit

A reliable revenge-killer. Almost always sent out late game. Choice Band gives it the ability to one-shot most teams unprepared for it, however most teams know to carry a Scizor counter in the late game. Pursuit obviously deals with Gengar and is a nice move to have against weakened opponents, if they are out of SR range.
---
Tyranitar (F) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 48 Atk/208 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Crunch

I'm having mixed results with Mixtar. On one hand, he has a pretty decent type coverage, but his lack of sheer power is alarming considering his mediocre defences. Flamethrower does however create an effective Steel slayer. Contemplating switching this to a standard set.
---
Gengar (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

Added as a late replacement to deal with waters. The only true special sweeper on the team. Energy Ball is there solely for Swampert, who has annoyed my team entirely too many times. Contemplating using Choice Scarf, as Scarfed sweepers often kill my Gengar before he's become useful.

Been playing with this for about a week now. Gengar replaced Magnezone because I didn't like him on the team. Gengar is there for Rapid Spin and because he's a special sweeper that otherwise my team lacks. Energy Ball is included because this team has a lot of trouble with Swampert and other bulky waters. I consider this team essentially a double lead team. I don't often use Smeargle other than Trick or Spore, and usually switch into Gliscor to set up immediately. Gliscor is the MVP of the team by far.

Mixtar and CB Scizor have trouble with MystiGAR, who is a big threat to my team.

Bulky Gyrados is a very consistent and valuable member of my team. But I found the game being much harder when he dies. I have been considering Rest over Dragon Dance. but I love having Taunt on him so I haven't done it.

Blissey, Skarmory and stall n general I've found to be easily dealt with, with this team. Especially considering I pack two Taunters with good defenses and HP.

Don't struggle with too many leads with the exception of a lead like Choice Scarf Infernape or a Heatran, who coincidently destroys my team when Choice Scarfed.

Problematic pokemon
----------------
Choice Scarf Heatran - If they send this out after my Gyrados goes down, my team has problems.

MysticGAR- Outspeeds MixTar and CB Scizor and takes them down...

Swampert - Hard to defeat for my team. Ice beams Gliscor, T-Tar and Gyrados. Scizor doesn't damage it very well...

Ludicolo - Not too tough, but it's annoying typing makes it moderately difficult to take down. However, Taunting it helps a lot.

Help is very much appreciated.

Swampert's not really a threat to your team. >_>; Gyarados Taunts sets up easy. Scizor's U-Turn definitely hurts. Those two are enough. I don't why you must need Energy Ball on Gengar when Shadow Ball already 2HKO's Swampert. Gengar's frail, but it still doesn't take too much from Swampert. I'd rather see a Leftovers/Substitute Gengar in place of the one you currently have. Helps deal with Pursuiters that may switch in at the sight of Gengar.

Because you say MYSTICgar and Scarf ed Heatran are problems and Mixed Tyranitar is not performing very well, change your Tyranitar to a Scarfed Tyranitar. Have it come in on a Thunderbolt or Hidden Power Fire from Gengar and Pursuit the hell out of it. e_e''' Scarfed Heatran will just run if they're locked in a Fire-type move.

An actual threat to your team is Jolteon, with its blistering Speed and high Special Attack that can be backed by a Charge Beam +1 & Life Orb. Luckily, Scarfed Tyranitar also helps in this situation if it comes in on anything besides Thunderbolt (it still stings a lot).

I'm a newb player so I admit sometimes I don't make the most sound plays, or understand all the counters. I will be switching the Gengar, and the T-Tar.

I've played Jolteon about two times, and I remember having a good situation with it easily each time. 1st time I had Gyrados with 2 or 3 D-Dance so I believe I just OHKO'd it. Second time I used Destiny Bond with my still Scarfed Smeargle. So it is possible that I overlooked it. Hopefully I won't have that problem with the change to Scarfed Tyranitar..

Ah. You will appreciate the change. :)

>_>; Both of those occurences are quite situational. In general, Gyarados and Smeargle are not sound counters.

:D And yes, hopefully. I can see Gliscor absorbing an Electric-type attack and baiting Hidden Power Ice for Tyranitar. Gengar could come in after something has fainted to lure Shadow Ball for Tyranitar as well. ;o
