Das Granatbunker-Pokémon versprüht seine Säuren überall im 1v1-Metagame! Acid Spray ist einer der wichtigsten Punkte des Movesets, da die 100% Chance, die Spezialverteidigung des Gegners zu senken, sehr nützlich gegen Gefahren wie Volcanion, Haban Berry-Regidrago und Primarina ist. Draco Meteor fügt selbst vor Acid Spray erheblichen Schaden an Raging Bolt und Kyurem zu. Sludge Wave kann genutzt werden, um Primarina zuverlässig zu besiegen, während Flash Cannon Diancie und Alolan-Ninetales besiegt. Mit Endure kann Hisuian-Goodra schließlich einen Treffer einstecken wie z. B. einen Close Combat von Great Tusk, und dann in der nächsten Runde, dank Custap Berry, als Erster mit Draco Meteor zurückfeuern. Sap Sipper ist ebenfalls nützlich, da Hisuian-Goodra komplett immun gegen Leech Seed wird und somit besser mit Serperior und Whimsicott zurechtkommen kann. Die Bulk-EVs erlauben es Hisuian-Goodra, zwei Moonblasts von Choice Specs-Primarina und ein Mal Dragon Energy von Choice Specs-Regidrago zu tanken, während die restlichen EVs in den Spezialangriff gesteckt werden. Hisuian-Goodra verzweifelt gegen die meisten Kampf- und Boden-Pokémon, wie z. B. beide Urshifu-Formen und Ursaluna, daher schätzt es Teampartner wie Iron Valiant und Manaphy, die den Gegner davon abschrecken, sie zu benutzen.
The Shell Bunker Pokemon sprays its acids all over 1v1! As stated, Acid Spray is one of the key points of the set, as its 100% chance of dropping Special Defense is really useful against threats like Volcanion, Haban Berry Regidrago, and Primarina. Draco Meteor lets Hisuian Goodra deal tons of damage to Raging Bolt and Kyurem before an Acid Spray as well. Sludge Wave can be utilized to beat Primarina reliably while Flash Cannon can beat Diancie and Alolan Ninetales. Finally, Endure allows Hisuian Goodra to tank a hit, like a Close Combat from Great Tusk, then go first with its Custap Berry to fire back with a Draco Meteor. Sap Sipper is also useful, as Hisuian Goodra becomes completely immune to Leech Seed, and thus can easily deal with Serperior and Whimsicott. The bulk EVs allow Hisuian Goodra to tank two Moonblasts from Choice Specs Primarina and a Dragon Energy from Choice Specs Regidrago, with the remaining EVs going into Special Attack. Hisuian Goodra can struggle against most Fighting- and Ground-type Pokemon, such as both Urshifu formes and Ursaluna, so it appreciates teammates like Iron Valiant and Manaphy to back it up and deter the opponent from using them.
