Tournament Specific Rules
  • This is a standard SV 1v1 tournament.
  • Replays are required for every match in this tournament. Any match reported without replays will be replayed.
  • Timer is absolutely mandatory. You cannot gentleman to playing without timer. If I see you playing without timer, I will turn it on myself.
  • The format for Playoffs and onwards is as follows:
  • The format will be best of five, double elimination.
  • Changing teams between matches is allowed.
  • All matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!, either the main server or smogtours.
  • Any tier changes that occur during a round will not be in effect until the following round.
  • VPNs are banned.

2022 Cap 1v1 Smogon tournament finalist Rtm here with some predicts

(14) Kala chasmah vs (9) Blanched - I don't want to get ratioed. That aside, idk how much longer this power of friendship prep is gonna work for kala and em. Kala is easily one of the better builders out of the new players here however blanched has a 66% teamtour winrate and I think he's building(?).

(2) Miyoko vs (4) RTM - They beat me in swiss, lets see how I do with preparation

(13) Spenceair vs (15) Shivam_Z - Who am I to predict against my goat Spenceair. While Shivam just came off beating Squirtell, I think Spenceairs aura is still too much. I might have to steal Shivam's anti scouting measure of posting downloaded replays instead of links.

(8) Go greeninja vs (11) DripLegend - Go greeninja is a good player, however i prefer drips experience, teams and clicking here. I'm not sure the level of prep that will go in from either side, although I think I prefer Drip regardless.
