Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the SWSH 1v1 ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here.
  • Best of five, double elimination.
  • This tournament is seeded based on circuit standings, rather than through random bracket generation.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on main server or smogtours.
  • Replays are required.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.

Rosa vs torterraxx
Both have been running fairly vanilla squads so it will come down to who is a better clicker on the day. I'm picking tort as to not be boring but it is a very close match.
Close vs Golden009
Golden009 is looking very promising, coming off of a win vs Nalei, in my eyes they could have a genuine chance at an upset but its just a matter of close finding out how golden clicks, as its hard to judge how a new player will play. I favour close in the builder and as a clicker.
