Rules:

On Deadline & Match Completion
All players must complete their matches by Sunday, February 2nd at 11:59pm -5. Any incomplete matches by that time will be subject to activity decision (MAKE SURE YOU POST ON YOUR OPPONENT'S VM WALL); otherwise, the game will be dead. NO Extensions will be granted.

On Substitutions & Lineups
Managers, if you wish to make any substitutions, you must post here tagging both the player you're subbing out, the player you're subbing in, the manager and assistant manager of the opposing team, the substitute's opponent, and at least one of lost heros , Heika , bea. This is to assure that everyone is in-the-loop and that the OP is updated accordingly to reflect the new match-up.
Managers, when you send in lineups, please send it in with the tier and Smogon username of each player fully written out for ease of transcription.

After Kaif’s departure from 1v1, he made an abrupt return to take on the mantle as leader of the “Cramming Cramorants” with blurb chungus which the team was renamed to the “Tapu Fini Tactics” Now Kaif is put in an interesting situation as he’s playing GSC 1v1, something that’s far out of his element, can Kaif learn the fundamentals of GSC in order for him to beat his opponent and will the TFT jerk be able to win the week as well? Find out in this week’s episode of 1v1

honestly at the edge of my seat my man, because it could seriously be do or die! let’s see if kaif can figure out the tier with only 7 viable pokemon

  • SMBZ is a "fan favorite" in BW 1v1
  • "Larry is well-known for his GSC prowess, so he’s the favorite here. But Murm could be a dark horse with some unconventional strategies." Mate, no disrespect to Larry, but Murm is like the GSC player. Literally no one would call Murm a "dark horse."
  • I asked for clarification about the Vulnerable Vulpix sweep, it said that while it thinks that every matchup favors the Vulpix, it doesn't actually predict a sweep "because there are always variables (like upsets, player adaptation, or unexpected plays)"
Not as interesting as I thought since it just made up generic stuff for every match and seemed to think the first player would win every game (except Zack lol), but I will accept these as my official predictions.

Even though nidoqueen's gambit is probably the most distorted team(except for the fact that the team has like 50 current world cup winners s/o RADU's amazing digital haxus) its also in a good contention to playoffs, however i dont see them winning against probably the most unexpected team in the entire ogpl series.


On surface Tapu Fini Tactics are just barraskwedas' and panchams' secret lovechild(bird got diarrhea #RIP) and its your standard first seed wannabe blah blah blah but the events which led up to the formation of this team are really funny(who knew two guys who havent signed up for the tour, would become managers last second due to the original manager missing their bus). Also kaif still cant count past 10 #dump2digits

Vulnerable Vulpix vs Stolen Spectres
Two polar opposite teams, one side is the entirety of RPS rhyperiors(and delemon), and apparently another randomly slotted iron crusher which is also apparently a valid strat s/o North Europe(+UK), double gsc is supposed to be good for these guys because obvious murm+bandit+ironcrusher and whatnot


While other side is a standard RADU-pilled team, s/o RTM, this team looks like its competing for the 2nd/3rd seed, the team has synergy and theres not much to say
