This Spectrier variant rides into 1v1 as a strong anti-meta threat! With access to Calm Mind to boost its stats and Clear Amulet to prevent Special Defense drops from Sylveon and Acid Spray Hisuian Goodra, Speed drops from Icy Wind Primarina, and Special Attack drops from Eerie Impulse Zapdos, Spectrier does an excellent job at walling these special attackers as well as the likes of Landorus, Manaphy, and non-Assault Vest Flare Blitz Volcanion. Taunt is invaluable in several matchups, especially against foes that can set up like Sylveon, Volcarona, and Corviknight. Pain Split allows Spectrier to win the matchup against Primarina and beat most Volcanion sets. The HP and Special Defense EVs are made for this moveset, while the Speed EVs allow Spectrier to outspeed base 110 Speed Pokemon like Iron Moth and Ogerpon-W. Unlike other Spectrier sets that carry Will-O-Wisp, this set struggles against physical attackers, so Pokemon that do well against them like Counter Ursaluna and Donphan are good options for teammates. As this set only has a Ghost-type STAB move, it naturally struggles against Dark-types like Hoopa-U and Roaring Moon, so common Fighting-types like Sneasler and Urshifu-S might prove useful against them.

Wallbreaker wouldn’t really catch my eye, but stallbreaker (more fittingly) wouldn’t really fit either. the set is cool since it flips a lot of special attackers that think it can get around lo wisp cm and you have taunt to do other cool stuff]! With access to Calm Mind to boost up its stats and the Clear Amulet to prevent Special Defense drops from Sylveon and Acid Spray Hisuian Goodra, as well as Speed drops from Icy Wind Primarina, and Special Attack drops from Eerie Impulse Zapdos [notable flip], Spectrier does an excellent job at walling out the above several special attackers, as well as from the likes of Landorus, Manaphy, Sylveon, and non-Assault Vest Flare Blitz Volcanion [I think AV flare has odds against you especially if you CM turn 1.
