Other 1v1 Team-Sneaky Gengar and friends

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be sharing with everyone a 1v1 team that has been met with a relatively high degree of success. However, unlike most 1v1 teams, it's not Hyper Offensive, and it's not Stall-it's Sneak. So, let's get into it!

Team Building
When I started putting my team together, I wanted one all-purpose Pokemon to star, then two backups just to cover weaknesses. I wanted a unique star, not copied from anywhere else. So, here's the big guy!

Doomseeker (Gengar-Mega) @ Gengarite
Ability-Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Timid Nature
-Protect
-Disable
-Sludge Bomb
-Shadow Ball

Anyone who's played 1v1 knows that most of the meta is built around the heavy-hitters, so I decided to start with one. Protect is here to let the mega stats come in play, and to set up disable. Usually, an offensive mon will use it's hardest-hitting move on turn one, for an OHKO. Hoping that Megagar is faster, Disable is played turn two, to destroy the best move that my opponent has. From here one in, I just spam move 3 or 4-whichever hits harder.

So, at the moment, I'm pretty happy with this, but I realize that if Megagar gets hit, just a bit, then it's down. At the same time, I also wanted something that could, once again, hit pretty hard. So, with this in mind, I picked Mawile-Mega, a bulky mon that can take some damage as well as dish it out.

Mawile-Mega @ Mawilite
Ability-Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 248 Def / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Swords Dance
-Fire Fang
-Iron Head
-Play Rough

Alright, so here we have it. It's not exactly an original set, but then there aren't to many variations when it comes to Mawile-Mega. The only thing that I felt was really unique was the 8 Speed EVS. This is here simply to outspeed other Mawile, as, funnily enough, Mawile-Mega is one of the onyl viable counters to Mawile-Mega.

So, down to the last Pokemon. Here I wasn't sure on what to use, so I was just playing at the tier for some inspiration, until I saw a sturdy Aggron bull it's way through Mega Mawile, because of sturdy. Now, this was mostly because I was falling asleep I wasn't paying attention, but still, Sturdy is a threat to any team. With this in mind, I picked the next mon.

-Fusion Bolt
-Iron Head
-Filler

Kyurem-Black is my sturdy breaker. It is, once again, a completely unoriginal mon,

I dont know much about the meta, and Maybe i'm bad for this but i had a 1v1 team with heatran, and i noticed it sorta gives u a bit of trouble. maybe u can give kyube epower as the filler, since it gives it much needed coverage.

Alright, first of all, I want to say you've put your teambuilding/team part twice, so you may want to fix that. I'll drop a rate :)

Mega Gengar
You are using a Disable MegaGar, and I believe this is heavily outclassed by Mega Banette, who does the same thing, but with Prankster so it can beat Choice Scarf users as well, with Froslass pre-Mega to determine Choice users. Mega Gengar will lost to all of the Choice Scarf users in the meta, such as Terrakion, Kyurem-B, Garchomp, and Latios, whereas Mega Banette will always beat every Choice users due to Prankster. It also functions as a decent stallbreaker, beating Chansey and Perish Song users with Taunt. Here is the set:

Banette @ Banettite
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Def / 204 Spe
Bold Nature
- Protect
- Disable
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp

Frisk reveals choices users. If they are choiced, Protect as you Mega evolve to gain Prankster, then Disable to force them to struggle to death. WoW neuters physical attackers and gives you a chance against non-Choiced Pokemon like while wearing down choiced Pokemon quicker. Taunt/WoW allows you to beat stall Pokemon like Chansey. The speed outspeeds 0 speed Meloetta so you can Taunt it, although you can opt for more bulk if you don't mind being weaker to this. Some stuff it beats: every Choice user, Meloetta, Azumarill, Chansey, FEAR.

Mega Mawile
On Mega Mawile, I recommend moving the 248 Defense EVs to HP. This gives you around the same physical bulk and much greater special bulk. In general, if investing in only one defensive stat, HP is the go to stat for greater overall bulk. I would also change Fire Fang for Sucker Punch. Fire Fang makes you a sitting duck vs. Faster Pokemon and only really hits Skarmory, who is next to nonexistent in 1v1. Also, Sheer Force is TERRIBLE as the pre Mega ability, especially as Mawile has an excellent pre Mega ability (Intimidate), while Sheer Force is completely useless.
Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch

This Mega Mawile set focuses on Intimidating (heh) the opposition and then trying to OHKO them with a STAB after tanking a hit, while picking off faster Pokemon with Sucker Punch. Swords Dance is there for the rare occasions you can set one up, which can win you games (but generally, clicking an attack is the best option). Some stuff it beats: non-Special KyuB, Whimsicott, Mega Altaria, Garchomp, Mega Sableye.

Kyurem-Black
If you choose to implement my previous changes (which I recommend, as they strictly outclass your current sets and allow you to cover more of the meta), you lack a special attacker. Therefore, you can make Kyu-B your special attacker! Special Kyu-B is rather unprepared for, and it alleviates your Heatran weakness. Also, please never say filler on an RMT, if you want us to help you, tell us what you are actually using, otherwise it is just a waste of our time. And finally, 4 HP is bad as it leaves you weaker to passive damage (while this is rare in 1v1, it does exist).

Kyurem-B @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Focus Blast

This set pairs rather well with your team, patching up weaknesses to threats such as Mega Charizard X, Mega Salamence, and Heatran. EVs are self explanatory, and the moves are just STABs+coverage. Focus Blast is chosen over something like Flash Cannon so you can beat Air Balloon Heatran. It also beats defensive Weakness Policy Kyu-B :) Some stuff it beats: opposing Kyu-B (speed ties Scarf, beats other sets), Mega Mawile, Heatran, Mega Charizard X, Mega Salamence, Rhyperior, Golem, Magnezone, FEAR, Whimsicott, Mega Venusaur, Aggron (and it's Mega), Greninja, Aegislash, Mega Gardevoir.

I hope you consider my suggestions, and have fun with the team :)

Thanks for your pointers, the Mega Bannette and Special Kyurem are both really helping my team out!
