Resource 1v1 Tournaments and Projects Request Thread

I have yet another submission:
Project name: SV 1v1 Personal VRs (PROJECT)
Project Host(s): me
Hosting Experience: Same as above, although shouldn't be too hard to manage
Project Description: Use tier list and make your own VR with explanation, have a extensive list here:
As DLC 2 has come out a while ago now, and the meta has come to some sort of stable place, I feel it is now the appropriate time to announce the Personal VRs to 1v1. This works like many other Personal VRs that you are familair with, such as the OU (hyperlink) variant. There are of course, rules:

:primarina:General Rules
~ Be respectful; don't lash out at others or shame them for their opinions. Instead, provide constructive criticism and ask why they feel this if they didn't provide a clear reason why.
~ Don't be stupid with posts. This is a legitimate thread, so the posts should be serious.
~ Use the Tier List that will be linked below, it will have every Pokemon on the current VR, and let me know if there are any others you'd like to nominate.
~ Don't make one liner posts (this is pretty self explanitory). Proivde some type of context, although certain questions are acceptable. If you don't think your post is elidgeable, PM me and I'll respond.

:regidrago:Other Rules
~ Provide explanation for each choice, but mostly for S --> B- tier, but if you can try and shoot for all of the tiers.
~ Bonus points if there's a joke that makes me laugh (nah just kidding but it would be hilarious)

Tour Name: 1v1 Multi-gen Seeded Tournament IV
Tour Host(s): RADU, and Seeding Council which is TBD
Time Frame: 1 week per round, predicting around 32-64 signups it will be around 5-6 weeks long, planning to start it either today or sunday december 8th depending on how quickly I can get a seeding council together
Hosting Experience: Hosted the first and third edition already, alongside various other tours
Tour Description: Format is Bo9o1, meaning one game per each generation starting from SV all the way down to RBY. The seeding council will seed people based on their perceived knowledge in these tiers.

Project name: 1v1 Ubers Tryouts
Project Host(s): RADU, other co-hosts that can cycle me out in the future
Hosting Experience: 1v1 Multigen Seeded I, CAP 1v1 Start-up, BW 1v1 Kyubless, LC 1v1 Start-up, ADV 1v1 Cup IV, BW 1v1 Cup III, 1v1 Live I, 1v1 Throwback Tournament, 1v1 Multigen Seeded III, ORAS 1v1 Cup VIII
Project Description: Theorycrafting how well would certain Ubers adapt to a certain metagame is always troublesome, will they really be broken? Will they even be good? Sure you can look at the VR and run a couple calcs but that doesn't really give enough insight. Given the legacy banlists we have carried over for so long and how mons like Darkrai and Blaziken only recently got unbanned in ORAS as a result, we need a better way to test Ubers in 1v1 metagames.
This is a continuously running project, meaning it will go on as long as there are users interested and hosts to host it. It could also go on break for a cycle or two if there's a lack of continued interest.
  1. The project will initially start with a Pokemon to be unbanned from a certain generation, for example Blaziken in BW.
  2. At the start of the month, players will have a week to sign up for the project's current cycle.
  3. Players will be faced against each other completely randomly in a Bo5 in the selected tier, with the selected Pokemon unbanned, and a one week deadline.
  4. There is no elimination, as the objective is to get a high amount of games to test the Pokemon in. As an incentive to tryhard, there will be an overall leaderboard to keep track of your record throughout the cycles. Hopefully I can talk to the tyrants at the top to give some reward for whoever is winning the leaderboard.
  5. The cycle lasts for four weeks, meaning there will be 3 weeks of games between players. During the fourth week a poll will be held for the next cycle's generation and pokemon.
  6. The cycle repeats at the start of the new month.
This should give us a tangible way to properly test Ubers pokemon in a given metagame but also have fun with ridiculous things like Arceus-Bug being unbanned in DPP.
Planning to start with the new year, so January 5th, but I can also start it earlier.
