Cap'n Walking Wake has anchored many a 1v1 team this generation thanks to its great all-around stats and a strong typing. With the HP investment, Walking Wake takes a Hyper Beam to the face from Choice Specs Volcanion, and with the defense investment, it also survives Wicked Blow + Sucker Punch from unboosted Urshifu. All the while, Walking Wake outspeeds Landorus-T so that it doesn't get KOed by Choice Band Outrage...
