Week 5​

• Follow all rules listed here.
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
• Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
• Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.

Kaif and Litt both look amazing, same with ded so these matchups should be locks. I think bellchimes is overcooking here with the lineup choices which makes this series more lop sided than it should be on paper. If uwu or bern can sneak a win this is winnable but feels unlikely given the matchups and circumstances.

This series is very close though the Barras are on a good streak, so momentum is on their side. Mentality insisting on being a benchwarmer is still baffling to me after all the ambition he has shown over time, but for the moment its hard to bench LB after a good win last week. The SM matchup might on paper be in Felus favor but the scout/outbuilding advantage is not as big vs someone new to the tier like Mishlef and he is the better player in this matchup too. AHD and IC look unstoppable in their tiers respectively so gonna be crucial to get a win out of those two again. SS5 is kind of a coinflip here, Rei has been surpringly convincing with Mishlef and Close support though which is cool.

Its hard to imagine the Thwackeys look outmatched here, and a tie is entirely possible due to both SV5 series being between about equal quality players. The BW support has been looking pretty great though and definetly not the week you want to be back in the lineup there as dreepy.

Wassup people hoping y'all are having a good day or become good after seeing urself bolded in my unbiased predicts. Here It comes

#7 and #8 rankings is just a small mistake. Megarays are probably chilling at this point and are almost guranteed poffs after they win/tie this week. Horrors drop from #1 to #4 is big and now they have to fight a lot more harder than before, fun times are over time to face BBB, thwackeys and panchams. Heatrans are doing really well than I expected ngl, they could have been top 4 if strav won last week. Its ok though Heatrans lineup looks absolutely fire and I have a feeling that they will get a place in poffs in 2025 after 2 or 3 years of struggle I think. Pults suffering in SV is so so so crazy not even joking. They have like 4-5 players for sv with delemon and lumii assistance and still not able to win is really smth. If panchams win this week vs pults they have to be ready vs heatrans and rhyperiors (both teams will be tryharding) . Rhyperiors are probably out of poffs run I think if they lose vs Thwackeys as well. ELO BANDIT MURM RU REALLY GOING TO END THIS PL SO WEAK? BUCKLE UP, START WINNING!! I think Jamez didn't won vs quite strong players (bandit,concept) so maybe I can give a slightly lean towards Notater. 40-60

SM: Concept vs Kry; Concept never got many weeks to play whether it was ogpl or pl rn so its better to bold a guy who's mainer and good record.
ORAS: Kaif vs Mubs; U know what's the thing here? Mubs going to start from here now and I am sure I will be right like I was last week with Nick vs Luser
BW: LittEleven vs bellchime; OMFG I swear if Lumii stops LittEleven their X-0 record and win this would be the most smartest slotting in this PL. BW is always fun to watch with types of gems and now 2 best BW players are facing each other, super excited to watch. No bold

Overall:- Just like I said before Idr like how they bought so many SV players and now they are struggling to slot and win. Hopefully this is the week they can fish their win and end their losing streak. Panchams doing well, just need SS bo7 slot to start winning.

SV Bo7: DripLegend vs Miyoko; This might feel biased but this isn't really true, Drip is struggling and not able to get clicks right. Miyoko it's ur time to snipe Drip's record and start winning for ur team. Just keep in mind ur team need you to win. Overall, both are 1-3 and I am not really hyped for this mu. 45-55
SV Bo5: Vertigo vs Urfgurgle; Urf won't let this series go easy mark my words. Problem with this slot is same teams are used what driplegend/radu build and use. So that's a slight advantage for Rhyperiors.
SV Bo5: xdRudi.exe vs recti; Recti would never be able to win if we keep changing slots. Recti will always use Struggle and this isn't wrong, this is the truth. Would be fun if recti get flamed after reading this, win and prove me wrong. For now Rudi got better chances to win than recti 65-35
SS Bo7: zo vs Here Comes Team Charm!; anytime, both are 1-3s but hctc is just better imo. I have seen them building last year and I know why am I doing this. Not sure though how much efforts they are giving this time. 35-65
SS Bo5: estra vs Waylaid; Waylaid choose to go X-1 instead of X-0 for no reason. Idk what was that bw slotting last week was. Anyways, Waylaid is a beyblade bit beast when unleashed starts stomping every single baby beyblades. 30-70

BW: LpZ vs dreepy; this might feel biased as well but dreepy has already faced loses vs LpZ twice and they ain't giving the win this time. Dreepy tbh forget everything whatever said in past that this retain was bad AND JUST GET THIS DUB! It's NOW or NEVER. If my guts are saying that smth. is right, my guts can't be wrong.

Overall:- At the most thwackeys can tie this week or getting stomped by rps rhyperiors and giving them the chance to hit poffs. Thwackeys isn't that strong like it was back. SS look weak asf compared to last year for thwackeys and I think rhyp. going to finally get the advantage of both ss slots winning and eliminating/reducing competition after getting waylaid and hctc in same team.

WHOEVER below top 4 rankings, JUST NEED TO GIVE UR BEST NTHN. ELSE. Simple way to win is keep in mind ur team needs you in tough times and you have to win, efforts in prep that's all.... GOOD LUCK!!!!! Now imma go focus on my series bye

These standings are not particularly surprising, I think most of us were expecting the Pults and Rhyps to struggle with wanting to draft from the same player pool. Thwackeys lu looks similar to last year except Drip has to fill the role of Blanched and zo has to take Mishlef’s place, neither of which has been working out. The rest of the lu is doomed to go even so these guys gotta turn their records around and Vertigo has to carry. The Horrors kinda surprised me by being up so high but they haven’t played any of the top 3 teams yet, so gl to them.

SM: RADU vs Elo Bandit - if radu locks in on prep he should win this, I’m just not sure how much time he’ll be able to spare

SS Bo5: Itchy vs feen - Hurts me to not bold one of my best friends but feen has been more consistent as of late.
SM: Jamez vs Notater - Jamez has been playing decently well, despite a loss I did not expect him to take last week.
ORAS: NTG Cuz IDK vs torterraxx - Bolding against friends again but I think tort is a rough matchup.
BW: trace vs Palestine - Palestine has been winning again but I really liked how trace played last week.

SV Bo7: RTM vs Kala chasmah - RTM has not had a great season so far but I think she can outbuild Kala.
SV Bo5: happysh vs Blanched - Blanched has not had a great season and I somewhat expect that to continue here.
SV Bo5: King Griffin vs LB - LB has played well so far, but King Griffin has been locked in after losing w1.
SS Bo7: Nick vs Nunnbetter - This team has insane SS support and I think they'll win.
SS Bo5: rumia vs Rei - I think Rei benefits from the same support that Nunnbetter gets in SS.
SM: Felucia vs Mishlef - I think I trust Felucia more in SM.
ORAS: A Hero's Destiny vs Irene - I've sorta liked how A Hero's Destiny has played this year.
BW: Iron Crusher vs Fragments - Iron Crusher is quite a scary BW player.
