2 Sweepers

Hey Guys, this is my first RMT on Smogon, so hopefully this goes well!

Anyways, this team is based around two sweepers, which are:

and...

lucario.png

Ok, so my main goal here is for Infernape and Lucario to set up with continue to sweep, with a little help from Stealth Rock.

Unfortunately, the problem setting up with Lucario is that it gets owned or I have to switch because of a opposing Rotom-H and my team has no way of disposing the freaking Oven.

Infernape has the same problem with Rotom-H, it's a OHKO with T-Bolt from a Scarfed Rotom. So basically, I'm having trouble soaking up whatever counter goes against both of my sweepers. Also, T-Wave is a pain, whenever I have to switch to counter whatever's countering my sweepers, they just T-wave the switch in, which totally throws everything off.

Here's the team:

Ability: Natural Cure
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature:Timid
Ev's: 100 Hp / 156 Spe / 252 SpA
Moveset:
-Trick
-Leafstorm
-Stealth Rock
-T-Wave

This lead is amazing for me. I usually trick things like Swampert, Metagross etc. Basically anything I know that will SR. Once I trick, they have to switch and I proceed to T-wave. By doing that, I crippled 2 pokemon right off the bat. Azelf leads are a pain to deal with though

jirachi.png

Ability: Serene Grace
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature:Adamant
Ev's: 80 Hp / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Moveset:
-Iron Head
-Fire Punch
-Ice Punch
-U-Turn

This, is my Scizor/Salamence/Latias/Ttar/Whatever check. It does it's job by switching into whatever is setting up and proceed to either flinching it to death or just punch it for super effective damage. But sadly, it crumbles against a incoming EQ from Salamence. Is there any other Choice Scarfers OU there that can do the same job as Jirachi, but with ground immunity?

lucario.png

Ability: Inner Focus
Item: Life Orb
Nature:Adamant
Ev's: 4 Def / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Moveset:
-Swords Dance
-Extremespeed
-Crunch
-Close Combat

Lucario, is one of my favorite sweepers. The obvious reason being because it can KO almost anything after 1 SD with Extremespeed, it's just amazing. Things like Hippowodon and Gengar ruin it's fun. Idk whether to use Crunch to hit ghosts or Stone edge to hit things like Gyarados. Any suggestions?

infernape.png

Ability: Blaze
Item: Life Orb
Nature:Timid
Ev's: 66 Def / 252 SpAtk / 192 Spe
Moveset:
-Nasty plot
-Vacuum Wave
-Grass Knot
-Fire Blast

Infernape is my special sweeper, and it does a good job at it. Just after 1 Nasty Plot it comes goes into OHKO range with alot of pokemon with SR damage. Unfortunately, once I set up, the opponent comes in with a counter, which gives me no choice but to just switch out and get smacked by a status move like T-Wave or Toxic. Most switches are caused by the likes of Rotoms, Vaporeons. Grass Knot does about 60 Percent to Vappys since its so light, and Rotoms, I can KO with a fireblast, but it depends on whether its scarfed or not. I don't know If I just have to deal with the switching business. If you have a remedy to this, it would be greatly appreciated.

latias.png

Ability: Levitate
Item: Choice Specs
Nature:Modest
Ev's: 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe
Moveset:
-Draco Meteor
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Trick

I wanted a hard-hitter, so I grabbed a choice specs Latias. Draco Meteor decimates anything that switches in. The downside to this is the special atk drop which basically forces me to switch. Of course, I'm gunna run into pursuit TTar's and Scizor which are gunna take advantage of the SpAtk drop, making it bait for whatever it wants to do with Latias. Should I just switch it to a choice scarf-er? Or just ditch the whole Latias thing all together?

vaporeon.png

Ability: Water Absorb
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EV's: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spe
Moveset:
-Wish
-Protect
-Surf
-Ice Beam

Yep, its the typical Wish Vappy. I love this thing till no end. It stalls out anything without any difficulty, it takes both special hits and physical hits like no other. It's just great, I wouldnt switch it for anything else.

OKAY!, well here's my team. I hope you guys can help me in any way possible! Please! I really want some feedback, and it would be pretty tight to hit 1300 CRE on Shoddy Lol.

Ty for your time!

Hey there, Bont.

Looking at your team, three Pokemon are weak to Fire (Celebi, Jirachi, and Lucario), and three Pokemon are weak to Ground (Jirachi, Infernape, and Lucario).

I know you want to keep Infernape and Lucario, so I'll do my best to keep them.

First, try changing your Celebi lead to a trick Azelf. This will still let you cripple things with Trick, set up SR, and T-Wave if you so desire.

Azelf @ Choice Scarf
4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
28 SpD EVs
Stealth Rocks
Trick
Thunder Wave/Psychic
Explosion/Psychic

If you elect to take T-Wave off, you'll have a much more offensive Azelf lead. If you keep T-Wave, you can switch Azelf into Jirachi and proceed to abuse T-Wave/Iron Head.

I would also suggest changing Vaporeon, but I understand if you truly do not want to. To help set up a sweep, I suggest using a MixMence build. MixMence will be able to take predicted Earthquakes, and can blow holes in teams to set up for both Infernape and Lucario.

Salamence @ Life Orb
80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Rash Nature
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Earthquake
Brick Break

By making these two changes, you have 2 resists in every type (excluding Ghost; you only have 1 in it), and you'll have 3 Pokemon immune to Ground to cover up for your 3 weaknesses in Ground.

Cheers.

Ty for the Rate! Also, I thank you for realizing how much I want Vappy on my team, but the MixMence really does sound appealing, I might just try it. Also, the Azelf seems great, I never knew Azelf could do the same thing Celebi can, I might as well try that too. Lol
