Set Details
========
*Bronzong enables bulky Trick Room sweepers by consistently setting Trick Room and supporting them with boosts and disruption. Its excellent typing and ability prevent it from being KOed by common high-power moves such as Metagross Meteor Mash, Latios Draco Meteor, Earthquake, Explosion, and Self-Destruct.

*This support-oriented Bronzong uses Iron Head as its only attack due to a 30% flinch rate and STAB. Swagger acts as both a boosting and disruption tool. It boosts the Attack of teammates carrying Lum Berry or Persim Berry so they can achieve OHKOs. It disrupts opposing special attackers by confusing them in exchange for a useless Attack boost, and it can be used with risk against physical attackers. The final support move depends on the held item. Substitute with Leftovers ensures Bronzong can take at least one hit after Trick Room expires so that it can re-set Trick Room. Rest and Chesto Berry prolong Bronzong's presence so it can continue supporting its team and can win favorable endgames solo. Light Screen reduces damage from many attacks that hit Bronzong and its common partners for neutral, most of which are special.

*Alternative moves include Reflect to bolster a team's physical bulk, Safeguard to prevent status effects, Rock Slide for spread chance to flinch, and Skill Swap to give Levitate to teammates that are weak to Ground.

*Leftovers passively prolongs Bronzong's board presence and has excellent synergy with Substitute and damage-free turns from Iron Head flinches and confusion self-hits. Chesto Berry allows instant full HP healing from Rest, frees the valuable Lum Berry for teammates, and stops Trick Room prevention from sleep induced by Dark Void and Hypnosis. Occa Berry is a generalist item that reduces damage from Fire, Bronzong's only weakness. Lum Berry can be used as a generalist alternative to both Chesto Berry and Occa Berry because it prevents all status effects. However, Bronzong's teammates often desire Lum Berry to receive a Swagger boost.

*Maximum HP and Special Defense maximize Bronzong's special bulk since moves from the types that it does resist (Fire, Electric, Water, Ghost, and Dark) are mostly special. Notably, it survives 252 Sp. Atk Infernape Overheat and survives 252 Sp. Atk Heatran Fire Blast 87.5% of the time. Minimum Speed IV and a negative Speed nature are used so Bronzong almost always moves first when Trick Room is set up.

Teambuilding
=========
*Bronzong has positive or neutral matchups against the three top tier Pokemon in the format: Latios, Cresselia, and Metagross. It appreciates teammates that resist Fire, Electric, and Water and deal meaningful damage. Most slow, bulky Pokemon benefit from Bronzong setting Trick Room for them.

*Taunt makes Bronzong almost useless by shutting down its incredible support moves. Fire-type both resist Iron Head and 2HKO Bronzong with STAB Fire-type moves. The most common, Heatran, can block Swagger with Substitute. Electric and Water-types such as Zapdos, Gyarados, and Suicune resist Iron Head and can wear down Bronzong with strong neutral STAB attacks. Trick + Choice Scarf disables Bronzong by locking it into Trick Room the turn it sets it and preventing move swapping in later parts of the battle.

*Rhyperior is Bronzong's strongest partner. It moves before most Pokemon when Trick Room is active, moves after Bronzong under Trick Room so that it can receive a Swagger Attack boost right before it attacks, does not hit Bronzong with Earthquake due to Levitate, resists Fire, and OHKOs common Bronzong checks such as Heatran, Zapdos, and Gyarados. Snorlax shares similar traits to Rhyperior, and while it doesn't has as much synergy with Bronzong as Rhyperior does, it has more well-rounded . Smeargle (lv. 1) both enables Bronzong to set Trick Room safely and becomes a massive threat once Trick Room is set. While Latios does not work well under Trick Room, it has excellent type synergy with Bronzong.

Its excellent typing and ability prevent it from being KOed by common high-power moves such as Metagross Meteor Mash, Latios Draco Meteor, Earthquake, Explosion, and Self-Destruct.

*This support-oriented Bronzong often uses Iron Head as its only attack due to a 30% high flinch rate and STAB. Psychic may be used as an alternative attack that is not dampened by Intimidate Attack drops and targets common threats that Iron Head cannot hit effectively such as Gyarados, Zapdos, Infernape, Swampert, and Suicune. (feel free to reword this section, but Psychic deserves a mention)

*Swagger acts as both a boosting and disruption tool. It boosts the Attack of teammates carrying Lum Berry or Persim Berry so they can achieve OHKOs. It disrupts opposing special attackers by confusing them in exchange for a useless Attack boost, and it can be used with risk against physical attackers. (splitting this section for readability)

*The final support move depends on the held item. Substitute with Leftovers ensures Bronzong can take at least one hit after Trick Room expires so that it can re-set Trick Room. *Alternative moves include Reflect to bolster a team's physical bulk, Safeguard to prevent status effects, Rock Slide for spread chance to flinch, and Skill Swap to give Levitate to teammates that are weak to Ground. (perhaps Hypnosis could be worth mentioning? although I can see how on a swagger set specifically it is obsolete)

Lum Berry can be used as a generalist alternative to both Chesto Berry and Occa Berry because it prevents all status effects. However, Bronzong's teammates often desire Lum Berry to receive a Swagger boost. (you can remove this on a set that always uses Swagger)

*Maximum HP and Special Defense EVs maximize Bronzong's special bulk (feels redundant, reword this. for example: Bronzong maximizes its special bulk because...) since moves from the types that it does not resist (Fire, Electric, Water, Ghost, and Dark) are mostly special. Notably, it survives 252 Sp. Atk Infernape Overheat and survives 252 Sp. Atk Heatran Fire Blast 87.5% of the time.
