Circuit Standings


Welcome to the culmination tour for the 2024 NeverUsed tournament circuit. After 12 months and 7 tournaments we have reached our top 16 players. Over the next few weeks they will be fighting for the chance to win the NU Circuit Ribbon.

SPECIFIC RULES
​
  • The format for this tournament is SV NU, best of three.​
  • Replays are required. Playing on the Smogtours server is recommended to ensure that replays are saved.​
General Rules:​
  • Sleep Clause: If a player has already put an opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move and that Pokémon is still sleeping due to that sleep inducing move, the player cannot put another opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move.​
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.​
  • Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokémon's movesets.​
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.​
  • Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.​
  • Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.​


Congrats to all 17 of you for qualifying for the NU ribbon this year. That's right, I said 17 because we can only have 16. There's a Bo3 that needs to be played to determine the 16th participant. With that said, the following people are guaranteed in:

Quick note:

Just in case anyone was wondering, we could've done both the Bo3 and Round 1 this week, but we felt it would've been better for the playoffs to start Round 1 with the tier shifts that are happening this week.​

Quick note: Tier Shifts ARE allowed starting this round as I mentioned earlier so Amoongus, Alolan Ninetales, and Torkoal (i guess) are all allowed while Araquanid is NOT.​
