[SET COMMENTS]

  • Low Kick is Koraidon’s best attack, having 120 Base Power against many relevant threats like Arceus, Miraidon, Zacian-C, and Kyogre. However, Collision Course can be used for universal damage, as well as threatening Ting-Lu and Extreme Killer Arceus harder.
  • Tera Fire gives Koraidon resistances to Fairy and Steel, letting it handle Zacian-C and Arceus-Fairy. It also boosts Flame Charge‘s power to the point it is able to OHKO Zacian-C without a boost. However, it makes Koraidon weak to common attacks like Arceus-Ground’s Earthquake, Arceus-Fairy’s Earth Power, and Kyogre’s Surf or Origin Pulse. Stealth Rock also cuts into Koraidon a lot more as Tera Fire makes Koraidon weak to it.
  • Swords Dance Koraidon is a sweeper best used mid- or late-game on offensive teams, when its checks and counters have been worn down enough for Koraidon to break through them.
  • The abundance of Pokemon that can effectively Terastallize into the Fairy typing, like Miraidon and Eternatus, hurts Koraidon, as it is not strong enough to break these Pokemon with just Flame Charge. Baiting out Terastallization earlier in the game massively helps out Koraidon, as that ensures it can no longer be revenge killed by a defensive Tera Fairy when going for a sweep.
  • Kyogre setting up rain hurts Koraidon, as rain removes Koraidon’s Orichalcum Pulse boost and weakens Flame Charge, making it much easier to play around. However, Kyogre has no reliable recovery, so it can be chipped to the point where it can no longer compete with Koraidon’s sun.
  • Physical walls like Skeledirge, Toxapex, and Dondozo are by far Koraidon’s best counters, so Koraidon appreciates teammates that can threaten them, like Miraidon, Kyogre, and Flutter Mane. Flutter Mane in particular loves Koraidon’s sun activating Protosynthesis for it.
  • Physical attackers like Zacian-C, Arceus-Ground, and Groudon can all threaten damage on defensive Landorus-T, Groudon, and Arceus-Fairy, which can comfortably take on Koraidon at high HP but can easily get overwhelmed by both these physically offensive Pokemon and Koraidon.

I'd like to see mentions of Arceus-Fairy, Toxapex, and Landorus-T in the checks section as Skeledirge isn't the sole check to this set.

However, this also makes Koraidon weak to attacks like Arceus-’ Earthquake, Arceus-Fairy’s Earth Power, and Kyogre’s Water Spot or Origin Pulse, which it could previously switch into. It also suffers from newly being weak to Stealth Rock.
Reword the first Arceus to Arceus-Ground and change Water Spout to Surf here.

Also mention partners to Koraidon here such as Ting Lu, Groundceus, Flutter Mane, Zacian-C, etc.

Finally, mention more flaws about this set, such as its ability to be pivoted around / stalled out especially since Koraidon is much weaker when Sun is gone, as well as the issue with so many Pokemon running Tera Fairy / Water.

Tag me when implemented and I'll give a stamp.

Change the set name to Swords Dance 3 Attacks, Classic doesnt give you information looking at the set in the calc unless you've already clicked on it.

Remove Collision Course. On this set I think I'd either leave it as low kick only slash, or at a stretch include drain punch.

Remove Kyogre as a Fairy-Tera type as its not common atm, leave it as Miraidon and Eternatus. If you need to replace it, mention Gira-O instead I think.

You can mention Kyogre setting rain (and thus, removing Orichalcum Pulse's boost) as a countermeasure as a separate bullet point though, especially since you mention Kyogre again later on.

QC 2/2.
