Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Lax Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn

My usual lead, and can beat out most other leads with its ground STAB, and is almost guarunteed to set up my rocks, HP Ice is a fantastic move for the set and allows me to beat gliscor and other flying switch ins! My favourite out of the Kami trio also.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Rest

One of the most common pokemon of thee generation so far, and is the special wall of the team. Really useful for passing around burns, and giving out switch advantages. Chesto-Resto over Pain Split becasue it can allow me to stall out a pokemon better.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Power Whip
- Thunder-Wave
- Spikes
- Leech Seed

Good check to most water types (which my team semi struggles with) this gen as well as last gen.
Only difference to this over other sets is that I have power whip as my STAB move, I prefer this greatly and am not looking to change this to gyro ball.

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Roost
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast

My Second favourite mega pokemon (#TEAM MEGA SWAMPERT), and for good and obvious reasons... powerful, good coverage and sweeping prowess. I am running roost to try and stay around, as there is no space on the team for a spinner.

Keldeo-Resolute @ Expert Belt
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind

Still one of the fastest pokemon kicking about, Keldeo returns this Gen to threaten almost all OU teams. The main point of this set is to bluff around a specs/scarf... and it does extremely well! Say goodbye to that landors-T that thinks he can switch in on a secret sword!

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance

The SEXIEST pokemon around these days and is a fantastic late game sweeper. Pretty standard set, only minor difference to some set will be the full 252 Speed EV's, I do not wish to invest into bulk and want to keep this stat the way it is!

Between the defensive and offensive cores of this team, it has served me extremely well.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank yOU,

Miles

For Landorus-Therian, Id suggest running the followiing EVS: 212 HP/200Def/56spe/42atk This gurantees you outspeed some rotoms and still live hits.
Got Some Calcs:
-1 252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham Ice Punch vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 292-348 (78.4 - 93.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 170-204 (45.6 - 54.8%) -- 5.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 258-306 (69.3 - 82.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252+ Atk Conkeldurr Ice Punch vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 204-244 (54.8 - 65.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Overall with this set of Evs It can still take hits quite well, out speed some pokemon like rotom-wash, and avoid getting hydro pump'd. You can do damage to help wear down some pokemon as shown in the following calcs:
42 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 186-219 (46 - 54.2%) -- 48.4% chance to 2HKO
42 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Medicham: 177-208 (67.8 - 79.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

You're seriously weak to Mega charizard y. Everything is 2HKO'd at worst, bar your own char y. In my opinion, you should switch bisharp for a scarfed excadrill. It can't switch in obviously, but it can revenge kill it, and you can have a rapid spinner. Landorus is OHKO'd I think by fire blast, if not, really close, And having your char y as the only counter to char y is a little sketchy. Also, your team has a bit of trouble (not as much as char y) with rotom-w. Again, excadrill is your man
Here's the set:
Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin
- Rock Slide

Hello, good team!
Hazards are one of the main things to care when using a Mega Charizard Y team, since they will be taking out the half of your mega´s health. I recommend you to use a spinner or a defogger.
Also, Well played Keldeo or Charizard Y can do quite a lot when they find free turns.
Because of this, I think that Latias can fit your team amazingly, as it is a great Charizard Y, Keldeo and Rotom Wash counter while also being a good defogger.
So replacing Ferrothorn with this can be useful:

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 184 SAtk / 72 HP
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Healing Wish/Thunderbolt

Good luck!

Hi i prefer to have flying type in charizard mega y
Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Roost
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Air slash

Air slash is completely useless, the only pokemon air slash hits harder than fire blast Is on Haryama.

This is better than my idea. Ignore my excadrill comment then

Charizard can use Solarbeam against Keldeo for the guaranteed 0hko.
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Keldeo: 330-390 (102.1 - 120.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Anyways, you should try a Naughty nature for Landorus unless you really want him to be a tank. Also, since you are running Mega Charizard Y, Stealth Rock is a bitch and you dont really have a way to prevent your opponent from setting them up. To prevent this, you can try running Defog Skarmory or Defog Mandibuzz instead of Ferrothorn as most water moves are Special Att anyways and Rotom should be able to handle them.

Hope I helped :)

Firstly I'll do this one Pokémon at a time.

Landorus doesn't need Hidden Power Ice anymore this gen. I know its meant for Gliscor and other Landorus but you have two strong special attackers. Instead of HP Ice, Stone Edge is more important for Charizard and Talonflame switch ins.

Only thing I have a problem with Rotom-W is that it isn't Physically defensive which is bad this gen. It needs to be able to check Mega Pinsir / Talonflame and other physical attackers. Without the physical bulk it needs, they easily break through it. I recommend 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Speed as the spread.

Ferrothorn is fine even though I'd prefer Leech Seed and Protect together.

Only thing wrong with Charizard is that it has 4 HP. Replace 4 HP for SDef or something. This allows Charizard to switch into Stealth Rock 3 times instead of twice.

I don't think Expert Belt Keldeo is good. Even if you try to bluff a Specs/Scarf (lol) you lose the power in Specs as Keldeo is most likely just breaking through everything that takes neutral damage from what you have. Example: Thundurus Switch in, Aegislash switch in etc. Specs allow you to easily break through Aegislash and other bulky things that isn't SE from Water.

Lastly for Bisharp, Pursuit over Swords Dance. Why? You want to be able to trap things such as weakened Aegislash, Latias, Latios, etc. Also Black Glasses over Life Orb because you still get the same 2HKOs w. Iron Head and the dark moves.

OK team I guess, I hoped I helped.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the help!!!!!

Firstly; I decided to follow 'A Terrakion' on the 4SpD on charizard and the rotom EV's :)

secondly; I followed 'Curious Shaymin' on the Landorus EV's :)

Thirdly; I decided to follow 'Epique.' on the Latias set, thanks! - This has replaced my ferrothorn and has been working wonders upon wonders for helping with CharY!
Also decided to switch the expert belt to scarf! Thankyou :)

Fourthly; I don't have problems with latios or aegislash so i have lef the moveset, however I have switched Life Orb to Black Glasses!

Overall, thank you all for the comments and discussion, but a big thanks to the guys in bold - ESPECIALLY EPIQUE.

I got to 50:3 with the minor updates and am now sitting on 80:5 with the Latias switch, looks like a keeper!

Thank you :)

I know you're 100% happy with the team as of now but I'm going to second this. Running Keldeo and Charizard Y without a pursuit trapper (to eliminate Lati@s in particular) fails to fully take advantage of their ability to spam Specs Hydro Pump and Drought boosted Fire Blast.

Hello.
Your descriptions are too short to fit the RMT rules requirements.
I encourage you to PM me an updated version of this team with beefed up descriptions, and since you're new, to join the Mentor Program. I'll be unlocking this thread after that.

Have a nice day.
