Scheduling
Scheduling should be done on Smogon Profile walls, plain and simple:
  • If there is communication on only one user's behalf, the win will go to them. Feel free to call activity in this thread beforehand
  • If there is a very healthy back and forth regarding potential times and one user is a no-show, a manager may take the opportunity to sub out the no-show competitor; if this is not done, the user that showed up responsibly will be awarded the win.
TL;DR: Post on your opponent's Smogon wall, schedule your matches, and be reliable. If you can't play for any reason, let your manager know so they can sub you out ASAP.

Sportsmanship
Exhibitions of unsportsmanlike conduct with regards to the 35 Pokes Premier League will be met with an infraction at the discretion of the 35PL host/NDAM mods. This is unlikely to include interactions within a team's private chat unless there is reason found to make an exception. This rule is meant to protect other users from being publicly flamed/bashed/provoked by another competitor for the duration of and following the tournament.

All players must complete their matches by the given deadline. Any incomplete matches by that time will be subject to an activity decision (MAKE SURE YOU POST ON YOUR OPPONENT'S WALL); otherwise, it will be a deadgame. All matches should ideally be done on your most notable alt (the one you registered for 35PL with) to avoid confusion and all match replays must be saved and posted in this thread. Use of the appropriate challenge code for the format you are playing is mandatory.

Substitutions & Lineups
Managers, if you wish to make any substitutions, you must post here tagging both the player you're subbing out, the player you're subbing in, the manager and assistant manager of the opposing team, the substitute's opponent, and all of the hosts. This is to assure that everyone is in-the-loop and that the OP is updated accordingly to reflect the new match-up. Each team is permitted up to 2 substitutions per week.

Managers, when you send in lineups, please send it in with the tier and Smogon username of each player fully written out for ease of transcription, following these guidelines exactly.

Other Important Rulings

It is recommended to play all games on SmogTours in the most current version of the format corresponding to those listed above. Games can be played on the Pokemon Showdown main server if and only if both players agree, but run higher risk of interference from server restarts/crashes. The result between players may be decided in a best-of-one or best-of-three at the discretion of both players involved. If there is no agreement, the result will decided in a Bo1 by default.

Winning a round rewards a team with 2 points, drawing 1 point, and losing 0 points. In addition, the manner in which the round has been won will also be recorded i.e. the difference between a team's wins and losses in a specific week's round (referred to as "Win Differential").

Playoffs
Each team will play one another for five weeks. Based on the final standings, the top 3 teams will enter a Playoffs Round. The #1 Team automatically qualifies for Finals. The #2 and #3 teams face off in semi-finals to determine which team faces off against the #1 team in finals.

Tiebreaker
In the event of two teams being tied for a spot in the playoffs based on points and win differential, or a tie in the semi-final or final round, we will have a tiebreaker round(s).
Tiebreaker Rules: Both teams pick a format each. The hosts randomly pick the third format. Both teams then send their tiebreaker lineup to the hosts.

August 2023: Phoerix vs NoExistencia - Apu is on a good run and is a player generally recognized as a top threat in august. In comparisson, phoenix is more of a new blood. I am giving the win to apu pretty convincingly here
February 2024: Mik3ymon vs Hogwobblin - Mostly an equal matchup, Hog does have more meta experience. However, Mik3y is not a player i would underestimate at all, every time i did i have been pleasantly surprised by his gameplay. I am giving him the win here, but if hog locks in i can see this turn bad for mik3y really fast
February 2024: Cloudznn vs AReallyShiftyGuy - Better game than most people might think. Shifty is still shifty, i mean, he has a legitimate claim for best 35pokes player of all time. That being said, Cloud is on fire this tour, only losing last week to a player who is currently undefeated. Shifty has the edge here, but an upset is very much possible and i can see cloud come out on top.
March 2024: GCGoat vs Fungal Plague -Fungal is currently 0-4 playing against the only 4-0 player not on slashers in the entire tour. GC is on a rampage rn and fungal is absolutely not at his strongest. This is mons, so theres always a chance, but i find it highly unlikely to see any kind of upset here
May 2024: Aviivix vs BellUno - I admit, BellUno is underperforming and Aviivix is not a player i would underestimate either. However, i believe Bell can show that they still have it in them. Bell is definitely not a bad player in May, and i have faith that they can win this matchup
September 2024: angolano06 vs presi - Two absolute goats. Amazing prep players and this is an amazing matchup. I have to give it to angolano though. Presi does have more meta experience, however, i know for a fact angolano has been grinding for this for a while now, and i would consider him the better overall player of the two. Really hyped for this one tho, can see it going either way.
December 2024: Beps vs Eambplsl - The 2 brazilian titans of 35pokes (i hear you angolano, sorry, they have been here for longer), this is definitely a hype matchup. And eam is in the same position as Bell, isnt exactly doing amazingly. However, just like with bell, i believe they have what it takes to beat beps. They are an absolute amazing player in dec24, they love the meta, im sure they are grinding hard too. You go eam, you got this goat
February 2025: Chemical_Jackfruit vs 7ayakum - Chem out of August is fun. That being said... 7md is a player i would consider to be superior, both in a vacuum and in the month in question. Chem is far from a pushover, but i would give this one to 7md
February 2025: Spore4ever vs abra xdd - Spore is i believe coming out of the bench for the first week now? However, in comparisson, on the other side we have Abraxdd, who is on a 3-1 run right now and has been actually grinding for this tour. He can definitely beat Spore here and make that score a 4-1, he just needs to focus and to hit that double protect.
April Ubers 2024: ilikeeatingcrayons vs Mada - Legitimately, cant predict this one. Very equal matchup, Mada is obviously the goat, hes Mada after all, but crayons is playing really well and its their tier. Hype game and, really, can go either way

August 2023: rei vs Dacruize - This guy is the august goat. Champion, very knowledgable player and very experienced. Comparing them to rei, whom i believe hasnt played 35pokes at all, i would absolutely bet on Cruize to take the win
February 2024: bigshot_Ranger vs jscurf -Of course, i dont bold against Shoota, another player who has the claim for greatest player in 35pokes history. However, i almost thought about bolding indecisive, because their opponent is draft goat jscurf, who is currently undefeated in the tournament and seems to have plans of bringing the money home. Can Shoota bring that streak to an end, or will jscurf end regular season with an amazing 5-0 score?
February 2024: superstrike66 vs ApacheRomero - superstriker is a player i havent seen play much recently, if at all, other than trios. Apache is a player i dint think many players would think about at the start. However, as the tournament developes and they amassed a fantastic 4-0 score, Apache has shown ample skill in the tier and, as such, i believe can take the win home
March 2024: portobello vs eldids - mi hermano. Porto might be a good player, might even be one of the best in 35 too. However, is he eldids? No. He will never be eldids. He will never grasp the level you need to reach to even be close to being him. The goat, the myth, the legend. Eldids will not disapoint.
May 2024: mambotnd vs Msousa - extremely hard one to bold. Ended up going with the champion but honestly, sousa is a formidable opponent. Extremely tough matchup, i can see both win here, and whoever does, will do it after an extremely hype game, that is an absolute highlight
September 2024: s7a vs Plague - every time i bold you, you win. When i dont, you win too. So ill keep doing what works. You will go x-0.
December 2024: Velcroc vs Habaduh - A very fun matchup, Velcroc is a good player that understands well the mechanisms behind 35. But... Habaduh is habaduh. I cant bold against him.
February 2025: sirpeanutcronch vs sablolol - This is another one i didnt see coming. Sablolol, a player i did not know at the start, took the tournament by storm and amassed yet another 4-0 for the slashers. I dont think CringeCat is the one that can put a halt on his reign of terror, sorry friend
February 2025: honeyuuu vs HunterZinfected - Hunter is a better player imo. Honey has absolutely shown her value in this tour. However, Hunter is an extremely accomplished player when it comes to 35 and has the tools to beat a player like honey.
April Ubers 2024: mmtaccos vs Dugtrio Is Broken - Last but not least, we have taccos vs my bro DugtrioIsBroken. Taccos can definitely bring something insane that beats dib, hes the kinda guy to do that. But dib is a more consistent player imo, and he will probably win this matchup
