Rules
Your team must consist of the following:
  • 1 Pokémon with Species Number #1 - #151
  • 1 Pokémon with Species Number #152 - #251
  • 1 Pokémon with Species Number #252 - #386
  • 1 Pokémon with Species Number #387 - #493
  • 1 Pokémon with Species Number #494 - #649
  • 1 Pokémon with Species Number #650 - #719

  • General Tournament Rules

  • Single Elimination
  • Best of One
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
  • Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing pokémon.
  • Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • Moody Clause: A team cannot have a Pokemon with the ability Moody.
  • Swagger Clause: The combination of Swagger + Prankster on one Pokémon is forbidden.
  • Battle Timeout: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown. If both players agree, matches can be played on Pokemon Online.
  • Logs don't have to be saved, but it is recommended you do in case of a dispute. See Additional Notes, please PM me the replays.

Additional Note - IMPORTANT since everyone forgot last round

From round 3 onwards, I request everyone to PM me the replays of their battles. Don't worry, I won't post them anywhere so you don't have to worry about having to change your team, but after finals is done and tournament is over I will post all replays so everyone can see what people used and stuff :]

misplayed mid-game but a crit on my poke sealed away whatever chance i had. lost, gg and gl in future rounds
 
I lose coz I didnt change my Azumarill EVs and because for some fucking reason Hippowdon doesn't have Sand Stream.

I'd like to talk about a thing i really care. When i see a game, even if a friend of mine is playing, I do that in silence (unless greetings) in pubblic and in private. So Remedy, don't worry about "helps". That's general rules of fairness, I think.

just said that I found it weird that's all, I didn't force you to leave
if you only wanted to check the battle, there was a replay, so I didn't understand your motivation
I just felt gangbanged by italians, and since Haunter was not a part of this, I was not reassured

I learned by experience it's wrong to judge beforehand and then about people's nationality too. I'm honest, that's a pity. Reading your words, it saddens me.

After that, nobody could be stay and watch game too. So to keep things cool, Lucafausto and I left. But we were there only for watching the match. Like everyone, it's better to see a match when it's going on (do you like to see the soccer game on pre-recorded broadcast?) even for cheering. Like all tournaments. A lot of specs are watching tour matches everyday. Trev told me about his match, I ask him to send me the match's link. Nothing Else. You are playing on a French Server, H-C joined the match at Turn 34 and nobody think about illegal or shady. Some French players knows me and my honesty like your owner PS channel Chirac, UTSU, iMeridian, Leftiez, Vinc2612 and so on. And above all, some Italians on Smogon and PS have a exemplary behavior.

Internet and in particular Smogon, allow us to weave relationship. But I just felt gangbanged by italians is out of place IMHO. I consider respect an absolutely value. Mutual trust, without prejudices and out from fruitless stereotypes.
