After a long season the finals for Season 17 of Smogon Tour are upon us! Congratulations to all of the players for making it this far. They have all reached the heart of the competition. It will test all of the battlers wills and skills for a chance to earn the title of Smogon Tour Champion!

I'd like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the dedicated group of hosts for helping this tournament run with a full head of steam. All of them did an outstanding job. Eo Ut Mortus and McMeghan have done the unenviable task of tallying up the points after every week. Ciele also played a huge role in calculating the win and loss ratios for the final 16 to determine seedings and the like. A final thanks goes to ium for working with me to create the "vs" art that you see in this thread. Give them all a warm shout out when you see them around!

Conflict and McMeghan are the two possible #16 players. As usual, we're having a tiebreak in a bo3 (XY OU / BW OU / DPP OU) to decide who receives the rank. I would like for you guys to try and get this game done within 3 days from now as that is the same amount of time I've given everyone else involved in tiebreaks in the past. Please don't take advantage of my leniency and try to prolong this match-up, otherwise I won't be so lenient.

Rules

For those of you who are not familiar with the Smogon Tour finals, each match-up will consist of a Bo3 - 1 BW OU, 1 DPP OU, 1 XY OU. The better seed will decide the metagame for the first game. The tiers for each metagame are locked at the time of this post (and will be posted below for clarity).
