Introduction

Welcome to Home Field Advantage, 4th edition. Every year this tournament brings out the best in players. It allows newcomers to rise to fame. It allows experienced players to defend their reputations. The tournament requires passion, resilience, and determination. The last three editions have produced three consecutive Brazilian finalists. Will the Brazilian domination continue, or will we see a different success story? Who will be crowned champion?


General Rules


• The home player can choose from one of the following tiers to be played: ORAS OU, ORAS Ubers, ORAS UU.
• The home player may choose a different tier to be played, but both sides must agree. The away player cannot reject one of the three main tiers listed above.
• The current Smogon banlists will apply to this tournament.
• High activity is expected of all players in this tournament.
• The battles must be played on Pokémon Showdown, unless both players agree otherwise.
• The format of the tournament will depend on the number of participants

A few notes:

-In this round, there are 16 groups of three people. You play both opponent twice (one home battle each).
-Only the top player will advance to the third round.
-A 3-1;3-1;0-4 tie will be decided by a Bo3 between the two players (Ubers, OU, UU)
-A 2-2;2-2;2-2 tie will be decided by the following matches: (Player B vs Player C) vs Player A; Bo3 (Ubers, OU, UU). Player A will be the one who won the most battles against the home player (if applicable) or the fastest player to finish his battles.
-Deadline is September 17th.
