Hi, welcome to the ADV BL tournament! Back in the ADV days, tiering was drastically different than it is today. It was subjective and arbitrary. They simply put mons that they judged too strong for UU and not good for OU in BL. There is a whooping total of 48 pokémons in the tier, making it a tier on its own, a drastically different metagame than ADV UU or OU. So if you're an ADV fan, play this, it's fun hehe!

Rules
  • The tournament will be single elimination.
  • Players will play a best of one series each round. Finals will be a best of three.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!
  • Matches will be played as ADV OU.
  • All the ADV BL and below pokemon are allowed! ADV OU and above pokémon are illegal!
  • Posting replays is not mandatory, but I'd prefer if you do so. :blobthumbsup:

Clauses
  • Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokémon.
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
  • Evasion Clause: A player cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize in their Pokémon's movesets.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.
  • Baton Pass Clause: Using the move Baton Pass is forbidden.

Acsel vs McMeghan

Situation: both contacted each other, showed interest to play, set up a timeframe to play, but for some reason the game never happened.
Decision: 3 day extension.

Cara95 vs p2

Situation: no signs of VM contact from either party, but p2 made an activity post claiming the opponent didn't show up, and the opponent didn't respond to it, so I assume Cara95 has no interest in this tournament.
Decision: p2 gets the activity win.

ara vs BKC

Situation: no signs of VM contact, no activity posts, no nothing, so I'll flip a coin.
