Welcome to the ZeroUsed Spring Seasonal! This seasonal will be part of the 2019 OM Tournament Circuit. Entering in this seasonal will earn you the points for an overall OM leaderboard, which contributes to achieving the prestigious OM Ribbon!

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the ZeroUsed ladder of the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here.
  • Best of three, double elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • US/UM cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • Replays are recommended to prevent disputes.
You may still sign up as substitute.

Pulling out some highlights/matches to tune into:

Ho3nConfirm3d vs Gorfield - This should be fun to watch, since both players are offbeat, but Ho3n has been on fire lately
Aaronboyer vs Broken Phobias - Should be a quality match no matter who wins, but I give the slight edge to BP since he has been playing more ZU recently
love chants vs a fruitshop owner - Predicting the upset here because love chants will bring heat
Quantum Tesseract vs czim - This might be the highest-quality match of this round, as both had excellent runs in ZU Open and are high-tier players
BloodAce0107 vs Robert Alfons - BA's the ZU main and is solid, while Robert always performs well in tournament play. Should be fun to watch.
Rav3ndan vs SBPC - Both have been around and active recently and are about the same level, so this will be fun to watch

Pohjis vs Bye 1 - This one's really tough to call; it epitomizes the excitement that Seasonals create, and I can't wait to see the replays

I think these matches will the most fun to watch / least luck-filled matches. I just pray to god no one brings Trick Room g3.
