UnderUsed Classic IV Playoffs

Welcome to the Playoffs of the Smogon UnderUsed Classic IV, where the top 16 players from our six UU Cups will duke it out for glory, bragging rights, and UU Circuit points.

Each series will be best of five with the higher seed choosing which one of the UU Classics tiers is played first. The remaining games will use the standard "loser picks next" deciding order. Tiebreakers will follow the same process except they will be best of three.

The final standings after our six UU Cups concluded are as follows:

Win percentage in the UU Classic cups was used to break seeding ties where qualifications were not at stake. The matchups are the following:

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.​
  • Standard GSC, ADV, DPP, BW, ORAS, and USM UU​
  • Best of five, single elimination. Higher seed picks first game.​
  • Battles should take place on Pokemon Showdown!​
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.​
  • Standard clauses apply.​
  • All the usual Smogon rules regarding activity, timer, disconnection, and ghosting rules apply.​

1. Amukamara vs 16. r0ady vs theLpZ: despite roserade forcing out roadys zong more than once into a hera, i still believe in roady to get the 16th seed because lpzs games renny were very far from impressive and it seemed he struggled to play the old gens, for poff, amukamara has impressed in the cups however it was clear they arent rly used to the teams theyre using. ill still give amakumara a small edge because of the hot streak
2. Highways vs 15. Renny idk how good highways is but im bolding him after seeing rennys games vs lpz
3. solonor24 vs 14. Expulso ill predict these 2 after this round cuz no idea ngl
4. esche vs 13. Pohjis esche performs well often but pohjis is more consistent
5. pokemonisfun vs 12. Cam
6. Adaam vs 11. Raichy i think adaam is better as a player but im not counting out raichy for sure, hes been doing well in a couple of tiers in particular but I think adaam plays the other tiers better
7. robjr vs 10. Ramolost rob hasnt played as well as i had hoped in some of the games I watched but i still believe in him vs ramolost, prove me wrong ramolost
8. Heysup vs 9. Finding True Love
