Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back to the SS Circuit Cup, for our OverUsed tournament this year. Your hosts are resident clownmaster GraveBee and dignified shoe aficionado Akeras. We all know what you're here for - One, fresh meat and more games of SS OU, but two - This cup earns you points in qualifying for the SS OverUsed Championship. Round 3 in any single elimination is when you know things have gotten real, let's be honest, because we've all seen the absurd amount of people who just sign up for a tour only to drop out round one. But no more byes! No more shortcuts! Finally, no more excuses for getting out of your weekly quota of blood, guts, and landorus therian! Now that I can say you've actually made it far, LET'S SEE SOME REAL BLOODSHED! Don't hold back on us, because the circuit points you can earn only ramp up even faster from here!
Rules? We don't got time for that. Gets in the way of me getting into my announcer's box at the top of this coliseum because I want a good vantage point to watch this week's carnage. Here's some spoilers, though. Treat them like waivers; I can't guarantee your safety if you break the terms and conditions an' all that jazz. Just know that a certain wooper once evolved to a quagsire simply by learning the dang rules, maybe you should try it sometime for yourself and evolve into a smarter person.

- Standard SS OU
- Best of three, single elimination.
- Battles should take place on Pokemon Showdown! or on Smogtours.
- Don’t make baseless activity posts, you aren’t gonna get act unless there’s an actual reason. Get in contact with your opponent and report stuff if they either don’t respond, miss a scheduled time, or if y’all need an extension.
- We highly recommend using Smogon forums for scheduling purposes in case activity cases arise, as those can be seen without needing to ask people for discord DMs. We can’t give act for what we can’t see. We reserve the right to flip a case for lack of evidence if you drag scheduling into discord DMs and don't put the scheduling logs (or lack thereof) somewhere we can see it.
- Sleep Clause: If a player has already put an opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move and that Pokémon is still sleeping due to that sleep inducing move, the player cannot put another opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move.
- Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Volcaronas on their team.
- Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
- Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
- Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any Pokémon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play. Check this thread for more information.
- Uber Clause / OU Banlist: Players may not use any items, moves, abilities, or Pokemon that appear on Smogon's SS OU Ban List. If the tiers change in the middle of a round, the changes will take effect in the following round. There will be an announcement in the relevant round if this occurs.
- Dynamax Clause: Players cannot dynamax.
