Hello.
Due to a mistake in communication on my part, an error was made in bracket creation for Round 1. A 48 person bracket was created, which results in a round robin finals. This is normally incompatible with double elimination, but this was not caught until today. After discussing with Tournament Directors, this tour will continue on as is, and will handle the double elimination round robin nonsense towards the end. However, in order to maintain double elimination numbers, the Losers Bracket required some unusual generation that the bracketmaker doesn't natively support, resulting in many Byes - this is a correct generation, there are no errors with the number of Byes in the Losers Bracket. I apologize for the inconvenience, confusion, and errors in the bracket generation that caused this.

i like this team a lot

sub synth servine is kinda silly in raboot mu bc it has to uturn, giving up momentum, or attack, chipping itself while servine regulates its hp with precision. thwackey's terrain can give you info on whether the answer is faster than servine from healing order if you sub. tink and vullaby in particular sometimes switch into your thwackey, which your servine subs on for free. also you can stall opposing servine out of leaf storms safely and wall it with drakloak

note: thwackey's evs make it so it never loses in lead mu vs pilo; it ohkos generic bulky pilo and survives cb ice shard. if you scout cb pilo beforehand, you can ohko it with glide

drakloak's main purposes here are spinblocking and countering koffing, but also it can check raboot, combusken, vigoroth (if you choose wisp > uturn) ; it can rk giraf, sd gligar etc. i rlly don't like the idea of missy on grass spam, it's counter synergy whichever way you look at it. and the other ghosts are even worse

quax drops flip turn here bc servine and tink hard switch into missy easily. just running strong attacks to force missy to heal more often. also notice that all quax encore targets are handled in some way by teammates. tink here is running protect bc 1. it blocks fs + eq strategies and 2. it exploits terrain.

koffing is running rocky helm just to chip opposing koffing using thief, and opposing thwackey using knock. tbh with physdef non thief koffing your item doesn't matter that much since you're not countering servine with it and thwackey does little either way.

make the drakloak jolly i forgot to fix it before uploading

this team is a tiny bit outdated, i built it just before nfe open finals 4 months ago, but i was happy with it and my other teams are honestly rlly bad (i'm rusty) and i wanted to avoid cteam to the first one here. basically the idea is you can't reliably prevent modest toxic dunsparce from making progress (spdef nacl takes ep but has to recover immediately or risk a 2hko next time). double removal is included to limit progress made through hazards. also psy noise > taunt on missy has been on the rise and vullaby loves that

some edits to consider: more spdef on vullaby to survive +2 giraf tbolt ohko from full, psychic > energy ball on lampent for better hakamo mu

Unfortunately need to call activity on Maybach. They missed the time 8pm +1 (my 3pm for screenshot reference) today after Friday/Saturday was offered based on screenshots in hide. I maintained availability for both days within both 3 hour timeframes (was on 30 minutes earlier both days 2:30 PM -4, with pings after 3 when I didn't see them). They were on for a bit around this time today base on screen timestamps but unresponsive, as well as unresponsive to their opp for another tour it looks like. Tried to be accomodating due to the circumstances and stayed the 3 hour window each day on smogtours as planned but no sign of them so calling act.

won in 2 games vs Medaia, felt unfair bc I had too much advantage on the MUs.

Glad to be done with Gligar because it was heading towards SD and Tspikes sets, which looked way too effective against most things shown in the tournament atm. Seems it's time for SpDef Servine + Piloswine, Sp.Atk + Knock Off Electabuzz, ppl actually respecting t-spikes, Monferno Knock off time and perhaps Hattrem as well? Idk, but it will be an increase of Knock Off here and there.
