ROUND 6 - Sweet Sand and Summer Vibes...
Ladies and Gentlemen, thanks for tuning in yet again to your local SS OU Circuit tournament. As usual, your hosts are the chill-yet-chaotic clown GraveBee, and the man with only the nicest of sandals, Akeras. After Round 5, maybe it's just me, but I feel like havin' a little calm before the storm. While we save up our energy for the death match to come, let's enjoy ourselves and relax on the sand, maybe sip a cold drink while loading up some OU games, because dang it's hot outside this time of year. Only those with the best vibes will be able to ride the waves and win some games to advance to the finals - and by proxy, ride those same waves all the way to qualifying in the SS OverUsed Championship. Either way, though, y'all have come far. So while we get yet more games of SS OU played out, feel free to enjoy the ride just as I have.
Rules? Y'all wanna talk about rules this far in? Nah... I'm too busy relaxing on the beach for that.
In the meantime, I've entrusted the Quagsire to watch over the spoilers, they've shown to be smart enough to ask y'all to read the fine print.
Yep, there are two quagsire now, so what? One of the woopers from last week evolved. How? He read the rules, that's how.
Secret Woopers For Especially Cool People
Here's an extra wooper or two for your trouble. These ones are extra large and eager to see you do well!

Being at the beach means it's not hard to find plenty of woopers, doing their wooper things. I'm sure they'd love to spectate your games, if you're chill with that.

Be nice to the woopers, and be nice to each other while you're at it, okay?
I chucked some names into the ocean, and paired people that way. And by ocean, I mean bracketmaker: https://www.smogon.com/tools/bracketmaker/view/13472/
Ado vs Sachumberto
Larry vs lou dort
One Last Kiss vs entrocefalo

Hey, watch it, Pelipper! Stop setting up rain on the beach, or you'll draw in Barraskewda... speak of the devil.

This week's deadline is going to be Sunday, July 14th, at the usual time - 11:59PM GMT-4. Please note, replays are required.
Always be chill with one another, but also be thorough. It's all about the balance of getting good scheduling while not being too uptight about it. A good rule of thumb is getting things done by Wednesday, but I won't judge if you end up going until last minute. If you have questions you want to ask or are looking for an extension, just let us know. I'll be out on the beach watching the woopers if ya need me.

- General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
- Standard SS OU
- Best of three, single elimination.
- Battles should take place on Pokemon Showdown! or on Smogtours.
- Donât make baseless activity posts, you arenât gonna get act unless thereâs an actual reason. Get in contact with your opponent and report stuff if they either donât respond, miss a scheduled time, or if yâall need an extension.
- We highly recommend using Smogon forums for scheduling purposes in case activity cases arise, as those can be seen without needing to ask people for discord DMs. We can’t give act for what we can’t see. We reserve the right to flip a case for lack of evidence if you drag scheduling into discord DMs and don't put the scheduling logs (or lack thereof) somewhere we can see it.

- Sleep Clause: If a player has already put an opposing Pokemon to sleep using a sleep inducing move and that Pokemon is still sleeping due to that sleep inducing move, the player cannot put another opposing Pokemon to sleep using a sleep inducing move.
- Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokemon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Volcaronas on their team.
- Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokemon's movesets.
- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokemon's movesets.
- Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
- Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any Pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play. Check this thread for more information.
- Uber Clause / OU Banlist: Players may not use any items, moves, abilities, or Pokemon that appear on Smogon's SS OU Ban List. If the tiers change in the middle of a round, the changes will take effect in the following round. There will be an announcement in the relevant round if this occurs.
- Dynamax Clause: Players cannot dynamax.
